There’s literally no excuse to not have evoker’s soar share all the same abilities and vigor as dragon riding for player’s that want to actually use the wings attached to their back. A dragon riding a dragon is one of the most ridiculous things in this expansion. Also would like another ability that allows dracthyr players to use their wings for old world flying. I don’t want to ever have to use a mount for flying of any kind when I’ve got wings of my own.

I 100% agree.
Not being able to fly as a dragon has ruined what otherwise would have been an amazing expansion.
Watching NPC Dracthyr fly away while my playable Dracthyr has to ride a dragon to follow them has been so immersion-breaking to me.

Sadly, not only do I expect them to never make Soar decent (or give us even old world flight), I expect them to give Druids a flight form that has dragonriding for that extra bit of salt.
I mean, not that I am against Druids getting a dragonriding form. I think that would be a wonderful idea. I just think it is gonna suck if/when they get one and Dracthyr are still stuck riding other flying creatures.

Thankfully there is no data mined druid flight form using dragon riding animations. I would be annoyed as a druid if I get it before the Dracthyr.

Phew, I was getting worried.
There is, sadly. That new owl thing has dragonriding animations. I am hoping it is just because there are versions of that owl as a normal mount too.
Edit: Again, all for Druids getting dragonriding, just hoping they don’t decide to do that and then leave Dracthyr out in the cold.

Why be rude? I have run into a lot of people this week who didn’t know the Druid flight forms have dragonriding animations.
Not everyone lives on Wowhead and keeps up with the datamining.

It’s annoying that druids don’t have a cast time on travel form while everyone else has to cast their mounts. It should be instant for everyone. That way druids bored of their forms can experience mounts instead
