So no Zandalari or KTs till 8.1.5?

I’m sure other posts have been made to ask this, but I really hope this isn’t true. They were announced back in Blizzcon in 2017, so seems unfathomable to me that we would have to wait for an expansion feature. I get lore is important, but having to wait half an expansion for something you hyped up over a year ago is kinda pushing it.

I’ve seen people suggest it’s because they aren’t even finished based on the bugs associated with the two races on the PTR, which again, seems unfathomable given how long ago you announced them. Waiting till the final wing of LFR to open, as some speculated, seemed too long, but 8.1.5? If this is true, I really think you guys need a come-to-Green-Jesus moment and ask yourselves why you even got into making games in the first place.

I’m sure there have been other posts about this, but I’ll make another one. Nice.

Quick recap:
Announced Blizzcon 2017 and confirmed released in 8.1.5 at Blizzcon 2018.

And no 8.1.5 is not a week away. It’s weeks away.

Yeah, and it going to be interesting. Guess what crowd does not get them till the end of FEB. the same crowd that was also excluded hunters pets. yes, they can do a raid. Not wait. Betting they are not seeing that way. Love to know what percentage do only lfr. The last number for raiding normal was 3% remark 8 years ago. Still going to be a fun day.

I mean, I haven’t taken this expansion seriously at all yet since I can’t play what I want. So I got no plans to actually try and raid. I just want to play a KT.

so like if we finish the raid we will be able to get them? I have stacks of gold waiting to pay for a run if that’s so.

There a crap ton of things you need to get them. The key one that sucks is the completion of a new raid. that so many achievements it in the dumb zone.

Yes there have been other posts about it (quite a few) and yes it is a tad (or perhaps incredibly) rediculous that we don’t have them yet

It’s obvious this xpac was released as an incomplete product. It feels like a fraud has been foisted upon us by a company that lacks the ethics or ability to deliver the product that was offered.

Just like the wod content that was removed and the lack of flying having nothing to do with the reasons they stated and everything to do with not having done the work completed needed for it to function.

This is the last xpac I will ever pre purchase. I will just use my last account left and play through all my alts in the previous content. That’s how this one is turning out.

I am now just going through legion order hall content on alts that didn’t finish. It’s frustrating and feels like they want my money without doing the work it takes to produce the product they promised.

8.1.5 is currently on PTR – like, a whole week. Hasn’t even enabled half the stuff on this patch, mostly just technical issues & the ARs. So, you’ve got weeks until it goes live. Once it does go live, you can expect something like:

  • advancement of war campaign following raid release
  • required exalted reputation with related AR rep
  • some quest line involving AR

I doubt you need to personally complete the raid, but the world has to be post Battle for Dazar’alor as far as the story is concerned. I may be wrong, but its highly dubious they would require raid achievement flag on your character to unlock the ARs.

I hope you are right. I just need the quest that pops with the patch and I should be good to go. I grinded that rep out like a slave and now I want to level a rastadin. I have been saving playing paladin since wrath in hopes of a trolladin and it’s finally so close I can taste it.

im pretty sure part of the war campaign is defeating the final boss of the raid, and that one of the requirements is completion of the war campaign

defeating jaina won’t unlock ARs but it is a quest in the quest line for them I think

Er, the content releasing for 8.1 is next week. Patch 8.1.5 isn’t scheduled until Summer.

I’d be surprised. For Horde, who actually had storyline reasons to be in Uldir, our war campaign-wise doesn’t require the G’huun flag. The Vol’jin side story isn’t part of the war campaign. I would expect the same to apply to this upcoming raid.

I did Normal Uldir on my hunter without any problems. I’m not sure what the problem is with having to do some trivial content to get something you want.

ghuun wasn’t involved in the war campaign

the attack on the city is, as is the death of the king and that being the reason for trolls joining.

We’ll know in 5 days. If I’m wrong, I’ll owe you a bucket of gnomes.

your quest log war campaign entry mentions intel that the alliance are preparing for an attack on the city

it’s right there in game

where did you get that info from

If you want it, get it. If you can’t be bothered to get it the way it needs, then you don’t get it. I’m not seeing the problem with this.
