I mean more customization options are great, but no mention of Alliance and Horde outcomes, no mention of new Warchiefs, or faction leaders for the Forsaken, the list of things not mentioned is what is most curious, and we have to wait until tomorrow for any further details. Also does this mean we are getting a new skill tree, often times Diablo and wow have similar skill trees. So is it going to become what Diablo 4 will have? Too many things left unsaid, and literally not a lot of information.
The biggest tragedy is my warlock still canât be an ogre and stuck as an orc. The horror. The entire wow player base is weeping for me I know. /cry Thanks all.
We just got ten new allied races in BfA and a massive amount of more customization in Shadowlands. I think weâre good in that department.
The Warchief situation is being resolved in 8.3. Remember BfA isnât over yet. We really donât need a new class right now though. Better to improve the quality of the ones we have now than add another one into the mix.
That was literally datamined last week. Well pandaren DKs anyway, but they have said in the past Allied Races will have DKs eventually. So frankly not news, and not a big deal.
Literally another panel tomorrowâŚthese posts are like complaining about a band saying âcome back tomorrow weâre playing 2 new songs tomorrowâ and then you complaining âreally, they didnât play their 2 new songs today?â
We are technically getting a LOT of new races. We just wonât be getting a new race CHOICE for them. The customization for trolls had Sandfury trolls in it and Dwarves and the Wildhammer. Those are basically allied races weâre just being given and it harkens back to what a community manager said about not wanting to have allied races just be variations of existing races anymore. (Mechagnome came a little early I guess). Either way, I am still worried/hoping for NEW allied races.
And to any idiot saying âtheyâre saving all of this announcement stuffâ, youâre an idiot. First impressions are huge. If they had another class to mention they would have. And worriedly if they had another Allied Race to mention, they probably would have to. The new expansion is on sale now. That means that most peoples first impressions would be incomplete if they were holding out specifics like that.
Iâm okay with it. Rather than adding new classes they are fixing classes, leveling, alts, and customization. This feels like the right choice to me. Some wonât like it, but shoveling a new class on to a broken system would not make the game better.
You arent wrong, but you never know. Maybe they wanted a shock factor or hype buildef for tomorrow too. After all the stuff that âwill never happenâ happened this last year i wont ever say âneverâ again.
