So no indication of normal flight in 10.1?

There, fixed for a more reasonable accuracy for you.

Its literally considered one under the Americans with Disability Act, and if the symptoms are strong enough you can qualify for disability benefits.

normal flight is coming to dragonisles. the devs have already stated this.

While I’d be okay if they put regular flying back in, I don’t think I’d ever use it.

Every time I go back some place where it’s the only option, it feels like swimming through molasses.

I’d actually rather they ditch vanilla flying, let everything use the dragonriding system but, importantly, jettison vigor.

It doesn’t happen all that often, but when it does just sitting there on the ground waiting for vigor is one of the worst feeling things in the game.

Indeed, not only is dragonflight coming to the Dragon Isles, it’s been available since the launch of the expansion!

… I’m guessing you meant to say regular/normal/old flying?

WoW is not, nor has it ever been, a democracy.

That the expansion was not designed for people with physical challenges should have been glaringly obvious for those of us that are other-abled. It wasn’t.

My husband and I would have kept our money and not bothered. We would have invested in a game that has more accessability.

Cant using the flight paths to get where you need to go?

Hopefully old style flying is removed from the entire game with dragon riding abilities on all the mounts . Yes some of the animation will look silly but that sis the case even now with ‘regular’ flying

I disagree. Just keep both. I don’t want to use dragonriding everywhere.

Maybe, but I think the team is looking to merge “regular” flying (swimming in the air) with Dragonriding. Perhaps in 10.2 or 10.3 there will be more Dragonriding talents/skills/abilities that implement a hover mechanic that will create a hybrid version of these two modes of flight.

Yeah, I wouldn’t take anything said by Blizzard as gospel. Remember the Dance Studio? Path of the Titans?

No. There are many destinations that require flight after using a flight path.

To do the story quests, to get the glyphs, etc etc, all require use of DF.

If someone has discovered ground pathing for ground mounts, I’d love to know about them :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I love dragon riding but think standard flight should be implemented asap. (For those that don’t)

It hurts NO ONE and will only make people happy.

Win-win.

I mean. Not really. Very few points in the game need dragonflying. And those are typically a very quick tap up to get to.

Need those dragonflying glyphs eh.

But you only need the Glyphs if you use Dragonriding.

In attempt to make the DF semi tolerable, that’s what all the resources I’ve looked up recommend.

Most of the time I find myself returning to ESO after reaching my pain threshold. ESO has no flying mounts at all but clear and concise maps and strategically placed waypoint shrines.

pretty sure people will be disappointed if they believe “old flight” will be returning, they even said in an interview that dragon flying is “to cool of a feature to just scrap”. I can see a hybrid form of it though, normal flying with the dragon flight “speed/boost” options for all mounts across the board, much more limited, but still in game in some shape or form.
