Zzzz never claimed it was I simply asked them to not use a medical condition an act like its the reason they cannot do something in a video game. Kindly move along or learn to read idk what to tell u
Both, I will admit, have their advantages. Dragonflying is hands down the faster option when you need to get from point A to point B and you need to be there fast.
Regular flying is more precise while not being as quick. There were times I missed rares on the forbidden reach if only because I couldnt turn on a dime to enter the cave but the amount of times that has actually bothered me I can count on one hand.
I am firmly in the dragonriding camp, but I can understand how both as an option is wanted.
Thats a you thing.
Dragon riding feeds my dopamine like crazy and the regular flight makes me lose my mind out of sheer boredom and lack of stimulation.
I also have adhd.
Maybe this was posted after you posted this, but wasn’t it very recently confirmed that normal flight is indeed coming back sooner or later in DF, and that Dragonriding is going to be a mainstay?
In addition to the pain attempting to use dragon flying, the down time is really starting to get to me. I play to have fun. For me, dragon flying coupled with the downtime is anything but fun.
Due to Blizz taking away my ability to use the mounts that I’ve paid before this expansion with no faction grind option to get them back (I don’t like that option either) my husband and I feel that coming back to play WoW was a mistake.
I’ve cancelled my second account. My husband cancelled his second account. We both detest not having the choice of using normal flying and are tettering on cancelling the two accounts we still pay for.
The only other option we have are to make new characters and play those in the old world. If we do that, we lose the opportunity to progress through the seasons quest lines.
What a shame considering the amount of money we paid for the new expansion. The lack of accessabilty for the other-abled is kind of disgusting to be perfectly honest. There should be a warning or a red flag for people buying this expansion to make it very clear that the expansion has no accesability option for the other-abled. AND/OR players should be able to wait out the time until regular mounts are available in the new zones and still have the opportunity to progress like everyone else.
They’re still planning to have traditional flying available on the Dragon Isles and how they’re going to bring Dragonriding to the rest of the world. The next step here is probably going to set precedent for the next step of WoW forever, so there’s a lot to talk about and figure out.
