I think i killed 10 different rogues in STV just in the last event.

Posts like this are always so crazy to me.
Counterplay is always some cooldown that’s approximately, and literally, 20x longer than Kidney Shot, or are a racial RNG ability that only one faction even has access to.
Everyone’s afraid of just saying, “Yeah, Rogues are busted, and it’s kind of always been that way.”
That being said, the real counterplay is group play. Rogues are STILL super insane in group play too, but the best thing you can do against them is to have the peels ready (at least for now, as they have no innate resistance to peels, unlike some other classes, so that’s an actual counter), and trying to stay far apart so they don’t have easy Blinds and Gouges.
Again, though, they’re still insane in group play, thanks to multiple tools they have for it.
Rogues are just dumb. And this is the best post you’re gonna get in this thread.

NOBODY cares about how good or bad Rogue tanking is. And NOBODY cares about how good or bad Rogue PvE DPS is. LITERALLY NOBODY is talking about any of this. You might as well have thrown in Rogue healing while you were goin’ off.

You probably have more counters to Roots than ANYONE, and Roots is the most countered ability in the game!!! The literal only class in the game that can’t self-remove Roots (not even including trinkets) is Hunter. And I don’t need to tell you how much of a joke that is in itself.
As for ROGUES???
You can Vanish, you can trinket, you can Imp Sprint if you talented it, but fair enough, we can assume you didn’t. You can Between the Eyes, you can Blind, you can STILL Sprint to counteract Travel Form distance for a Root cast… and there’s probably more I’m forgetting, to be honest??? People keep saying “Free Action Potion,” well this goes both ways, FUNNY how that works, eh?!?
