Have you been to the Diablo forums? The Diablo forums and community (or what's left of it) reminds me very much of Dante's descent into Limbo, the first circle of Hell.
Every post that tries to ignite a faint spark of hope is immediately extinguished from those that inhabit this limbo with witty retorts of "as a matter of fact" and "here's why this won't happen". Everyone inhabiting it.....the Diablo fanbase...... have been removed from god's (blizzard's) sight and grace, creating this solemn wasteland of sorrow and despair.
It almost feels as though switching to the Diablo page should be greet anyone with the message "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" because that's what we....the Diablo fans have done. We've abandoned all hope for anything significant. We don't want to be inspired or re-ignited.....we just want to be left to die.
