So much frustration/negativity on the forums I feel there is sometimes

Lick some foxes :fox_face: they might just lick you back. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

(you’re not allowed to lick me though, I might bite, I haven’t decided yet (unless you’re also a fox, then you’re allowed by default and you don’t even need a signed permission slip))
:fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face::fox_face:

Someone is bord lol.

Sorry, I’m not really a fan of hairballs.

I can offer a hug, though.

Will they though? I’ll ask around for some fox licks then.

Forums will always have negativity because we get literally no communication from the devs. No “campfire chats” nothing. It’s crazy to me how wildly popular wow is and they have zero PR staff.

Maybe there’s too much of a discrepancy between how much they’d be willing to pay someone for that and how much pain and suffering money people would want to be willing to do the job regardless of the madness.

There’s no guarantee, but licking foxes is the reward in of itself.

Back in the 1980s I went to work for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC). I spent many years there.

One thing Digial had for their 20 thousand employees, that were in offices around the world, was a network. It was called DECnet. This was back before the Internet existed. The TCP/IP backbone that the Internet uses today was still ARPANET.

On this network there were notes files, basically text based forums. Most were for work related issues, for example there was one for the FORTRAN group, the COBOL group, the VMS Operating system, etc. But there were employee interest notes files.

Some of those included things like a gardening note file, an astronomy notes file, game notes files like Rotisserie Baseball, etc but one was called SOAPBOX.

SOAPBOX was a political notes file and comments in there could get really nasty, just as they do in forums today. When the Internet came along and forums appeared it was obvious what was going to happen. People are far more likely to vent their rage in a notes file than in person face to face.

And this was in a company where we all had to work together. No surprise it’s much worse with people who don’t really know each other, much less having jobs where they have to rely on working together.
