So I’ve been travelling around the housing area(s) to see what other people do, try and find inspiration, etc. Most people keeping their houses “locked” though. Fortunately a few have left them open to visit. One in particular is so imaginative – Plot #35 on my home map. I don’t know how he/she did it, but it’s incredible on the inside! Secret rooms, beautifully decorated and just plain awesome. Mine on the other hand is very plain – Plot #0 on my home map. Not sure what to do at the moment.. I had things set up in a cozy way, but then “discovered” the ability to add a second floor / more rooms, and now I’m lost lol. I don’t have a designer bone in my body.
It’s too bad the person who has #35 is on a different server – I tried mailing them a message to tell them how awesome it is, but I can’t mail to that server 
. For all of you out there who have beautiful outsides and insides of your home, I’m envious of your artistic eye.
I’m working to complete certain achieves and such to get more decor, but yeah.. My brain just isn’t wired for interior OR exterior design… LOL you should see my house. Very bare and utilitarian because I don’t know what else to do with the place.. Yeah.
Anyway – keep up the good work people! I love seeing what people come up with!!

I put a closet off my hallway and used a secret bookcase as a door. I stuffed the room full of treasure chests. Need a place to store all my loot.

Don’t feel bad- I haven’t even started decorating yet. I think I have a door mat, and I planted a few trees outside, but that’s all I’ve done. I am taking “no rush” to the extreme 
I’d rather work on leveling my house. collecting decor, leveling alts and other professions, so by the time Midnight drops, I am ready for bear!

Well – I deleted everything in my interior (again) – testing out various things. Not sure about the octagonal room as the “main room,” but am giving it a shot. As others have said though, I wish they’d remove the “indoor / outdoor” restrictions.. There are some things that just make zero sense being inside… Like lightposts you’d find along a road(?)
I joined the WoWKea discord and the people there have so many ideas there helped me a lot with my little kitchen area. Now I did start with a clear idea of what I wanted but seeing other people’s ideas can help with combining items or just remembering that you can combine items. Or using items outside of their intended use. Play around, I have turned the plushie raptor and elekk into seating by sizing them up to max and hiding a stool in them.
Also don’t knock the light post as indoor decor. It works in some spaces and you can also resize them to make them table lamps. But Blizzard is working on the lighting for outdoor issue. It is bugged because too many lights can crash the server.
