So many races to choose and we get another dwarf

Why do you get another reskin of the Dwarves as an allied race, when there are so many other cool factions/races inside the warcraft universe to give us.

For example the Trinkit Imperfect Ascendance Serum, “ascends” you turning you into a different chracter, like a spider looking character, which even has its own walk and jumping animation.

Why wouldn’t we get that as an new Race, compared to the reskinned dwarves? Really hoping we get something new besides these constant reskins.

I’m not a huge fan of Earthen but at least they are taller than normal dwarves and dark irons

I’m glad you made this topic, nobody else has ever mentioned this train of thought. So stunning so brave

Prob nerubian humanoids, we likely kill the new queen and old queen likely being restored and we will enter an alliance with them

Im still waiting for blizzard to add another blood elf race with blue eyes and blonde hair. (which you can just make with void elves and blood elves why do you people keep asking for this)

Likely because they were an easy fit.

Repeating the same answer we give in every post about this…

Allied races are just reused skeletons/frames of the races that are already available and require little effort. Thus, they are limited to the races that fit those frames. It doesnt matter if there are other cool races, because they cant be allied races.

Kul tiran are the only exception to that rule because they are the only allied race to get a unique skeleton…but I wouldnt expect that to happen ever again

Will they be just a little bit larger than the other void/blood elves???

Simply stating what they are does nothing to address the fact that players want more races to be added as playable that are actually cool. Instead of re-used.

Cool!

And so true.

The op asked why. I explained why.

Players can want all they want, but they’re probably not getting the races they want as allied races.

It’s far more likely that Blizz adds them as an x-pack feature race

Being pedantic about terminology is a nice way to seem dismissive of what OP (and others) want. “Allied race” or not, players want the cool options to become playable…

I like the little earth peoples.

In this case the terminology is important because the categories of new race comes with certain limitations.

We got dwarves because they were added as an allied race.

I’m not dismissing the request for more races. I would love more races…and I despise the allied race system. But regardless, the reason we got dwarves this time is pretty clear.

A completely arbitrary limitation. I might add.

Honestly doubt it, considering the trinket that turns you into them shows that they’re missing nearly every combat animation beyond the basic casts and swings. Nearly all of the “they’ll join eventually” races we’ve had so far have at least been able to animate on the player toolkit.

If we get another race out of TWW it’ll absolutely be the Haranir.
