Didnt Fury just recieve some ST damage buffs this past reset? Or they’re still bad even after?

I also wish ele could be competitive, being forced to enh and melee just isn’t an option for some folks who absolutely despise melee.

Not saying it’s as good as last week, but you certainly can be competitive in most environments.
Of course if you are competing against players who are high caliber in certain specs then you will run into issues competing due to natural tuning differences. Generally speaking though you wouldn’t be a burden if you are playing your class well (and doing mechanics), which is the case for classes. Factor in the buff we are getting and all specs should be viable to do Mythic just fine.
my raid team’s sim channel shows us -200-400k dps any other class w/ same ilvl, my ret pally minus 10ilvl, 7gems, and all enchants sims higher ST

So, from the logs for this patch so far. 90%, we are 3rd to last in dps only beating Aug evoker and fire mage. And we only beat aug evoker by 30k dps (for all bosses).

I just looked at warcraftlogs - ele is middle of the pack.
I just looked at the logs, in the 90th percentile all bosses we are 3rd to last. in 90th percentile damage to boss, 2nd to last we are Just in front of Fire mage, that has 2 other well preforming RANGE specs.

You’re trying to create a misleading image; classes/encounters aren’t balanced around only boss damage, they’re balanced around all of the mechanics of an encounter. To ignore multi-target is asinine. Also, you should be looking at 95th percentile as it’s a more accurate look at proper play. If you look at elemental at 95th percentile across all boss encounters, it’s pretty much dead center of all dps. Yeah, getting nerfed sucks but elemental is in a completely fine spot right now.

People at blizzard have no brain, its time to admit it…
How do you release a patch with a completely broken shaman… doing absolutely broken damage… HOW DO YOU DO THAT?
AND THEN you nerf it to the absolute gutter. its beyond bad now… all in about 1 week.
I have never in my life experienced worse game development than this.

Right? I’m full melee, and people always suggest going ele when enh is the weaker spec, but I just don’t like the idea of casting times in my rotation. Changing specs shouldn’t be the answer.
90th Percentile all bosses takes into account AOE
Ele Shaman set on heroic all bosses at 95th percentile over a range of 1 day … Mind you the bug fixes and nerfs were completed yesterday as a hot fix… puts elemental only above aug evoker and fire mage… We are in the dumpster tier. Not even close to mid infact we are about 8% damage behind mid.

There are 10x specs under Ele Shaman in raid.
