Yes, because randomly hitting a button means you read the entire thing…
If you started playing vanilla before Dire Maul and before BG’s and before this/that etc… aren’t YOU one of the smaller group of players? I mean… it’s not like every vanilla player’s authentic experience included waiting for content- most of us were still levelling or hadn’t even started when these features came out.
So my assessment that people who hit a button (not randomly by the way) because they wanted to express agreement, is invalid, because it’s possible that they didn’t read it?
But your opinion, which has zero merit, is more accurate?
Okay.
At any rate, I read the whole thing. So just with that, you are wrong.
i love this comment so much
Not sure how them releasing an extra dungeon that really doesnt affect that much of game play warrants a quitting notice…
Nitpicking crybabies shall not be missed. Have fun playing BFA. I truly hope you continue trolling the forums.
Sorry to hear this, sucks to be let down from expectations, hope you find something else.
Don’t feel the need to really comment on your reasons, everyone is entitled to their opinions about Classic in the end.
You’ll be back. They always come back.
yeah Blizzard. Why would you not wait for this guy to get to 60 and all his BiS gear before releasing the next phase??? Ridiculous
I’d agree if they released A TON of content. But they legit only released DM. Something to give people at max lvl to do. They didn’t even release Phase 2. If you were going to nitpick this much it was inevitable for you to quit. People already did this content before. They know the Metas they know everything. Of course it is going to go at a quicker pace.
Not reading that wall of text but this statement alone tells me you probably dont even play classic wow so…bye
A troll not posting on his classic toon…Not 60… DM doesnt even have any bearing on MC. Classic released with the 1.12.1 talents for every class. We’re in easy mode until Drums of War AQ patch. Why cant people grasp this.
More server space for me
/wave
For starters, your post is too long to actually read. Second, it sounds like you were just looking for an excuse to quit.
best comment to this post. What a set of complete lunatics that can never be satisfied with any decision Blizzard makes.
I respect you for making a long and thoughtful post but you start by stating an incorrect assumption.
There is far more than a small handful of players waiting for Dire Maul.
Just because you want to take Classic slowly does not mean everyone wants to. My server is fielding some odd 7 or 8 guild MC raids per week, on Alliance alone. Large swaths of the community have downed rag already. For as great as the leveling is, and for as slow paced as the game is, there is a pretty large number of players that are just done with the existing content.
On Rattlegore, we’re probably seeing 1200 players locked to MC a week between the two factions. That’s not a small number.
There’s also the issue that when a player gets done with prebis, IE they’ve done UBRS a million times, they don’t go back to do the harder level 60 dungeons and mini raids. There’s a MASSIVE throughput gap between the hardcore and casual playerbases that isn’t closing and CANT close because the players who are already geared have very, very little incentive to go back to the other dungeons. Dire Maul is offering a solution to this by offering very well itemized gear in a 5m, giving casual players a viable gearing path, with 10m dungeons being ran less and less.
The release of DM is about half way between the NA and EU release date. DM came out 2 weeks after the EU WoW release, so this is a happy medium. It also helps you if you’re slow, because the players who want to roll the content aren’t running 60 dungeons anymore, making the gear disparity less of an issue. This lets more casual leaning players have a fair shot going into Phase 2, where as if they didn’t release DM, the casual playerbase would have 0 chance against established raiding guilds.
Can we appreciate this nugget of astonishing projection from the OP? This is too good to be true.
LOL and it’s Mogar of all people, one of the most delusional Classic die-hards of these forums which is an incredibly tough competition. No surprise he is flipping out and storming away over something as minor as this, and it’s incredibly entertaining and satisfying to see too.
Hint to Mogar: consider that maybe it’s you who is out of touch, not Blizzard.
You lost me when you said the devs tried to recreate vanilla. I played closed beta thanks to my premium fileplanet sub and open beta and logged in the day vanilla wow released in 2004. This isn’t vanilla.
This would be like taking the beetles, using all the original faces, songs. But changing their voices and studio equipment and releasing an album. Anyone who knew the beetles would be like wtf?
Very good post. I feel for all these things you said and agree. I’m pretty sure above me are posts from the loud minority that are going to just insult and berate you, bullying you and trying to silence your statement hoping nobody sees anything you said before it’s too late.
