DKs only ever made sense as Humans and Blood Elves.
The whole Lich King made everyone a DK nonsense was dumb even back then. But obviously introducing a new class to just those two races wasn’t as exciting or a good expansion selling point.
But thematically at the end of the day, Humans and Belves are the defacto DK race.

Im sure they will work it in to the story somehow.
But for right now, it feels like an impossible combination. I dont get it at all.
3rd generation DKs as they appear as a class in WoW are based on their WC3 variations who were all Human and High Elves because that’s where the scourge was predominantly rampant.
The Orchish Hordes DKs and DKs in WoW share almost nothing in common aside a name.
Why can demons be paladins?
