There was a change make that decoupled invisibility potions from combat potions, which was hotfixed to cause either to incur a CD. This was a stupid change when it was implemented in DF, and continues to be one for WWI. For a moment I was hopeful that blizzard came to their senses and realized that it’s stupid to keep both tied together, yet they hotfixed it anyways.
Once again I ask the question of why, the excuse “well it encourages a meaningful choice”, is utter bull. Sorry but it is, what the bulk of upper end M+ players do is use Night elf shadowmeld to skip packs due to the damage loss that comes with not having a damage potion due to it being tied to invisibility. While punishing players that aren’t night elf, or don’t have a night elf tank in the group that can pull, then drop aggro with meld. In fact in all honesty tying invisible to combat potions stifles route creativity, and while I understand that their goal seems to be to avoid degenerate routes. There are better methods to go about discouraging these, by altering mob pathing or density in certain areas. With the best option to be just leave it alone, given its a non issue to being with for the bulk of players that do keys, and just let the upper end degen to their hearts content.
Please consider decoupling the combat and invisibility potion CD’s by reverting the hotfix. It’s a nonsense change that was made that in all honesty just stifled things for little to no reason at all. Other than being a direct dig against upper end M+ players and their routing through dungeons.
