This is great in theory, but it then means that hunters literally can only play with a handful of classes (mainly melee), which has been the case all of legion and BFA. Only SV in BfA has been able to have a more diversified comp selection due to setting up their own traps and access to a stun.
MM has no stuns and a single talented root. Scatter trap would only be available to MM. So unless blizzard wants the game to have more stuns aka more homogenization then MM should get scatter trap back.

What does EU vs NA have to do with this discussion. EU also only plays the same comps that NA plays which are only SV based. This is a discussion about MM seeing as it is the only hunter spec that can’t set up its own traps.

NA has a knack for producing hunters that play in the 1800-2300 range that think they’re some god level being for executing an instant CC off a stun.
Then when you tell them that they’re morons for thinking that, they get incredibly triggered very quickly.
Side note, inability to solo set up your own CC is not cause for a spec to be horrible.

No I told somebody that said trap needs arm back that it does not. And travel time basically replaced it.
