So just what exactly is the legendary "bad luck protection"?

Do we get like a .5% increased chance next Sark kill? How exactly does it work? Given Blizzard’s track record I cant imagine your chances are increased next kill that significantly but was curious exactly how this glorious “fix” works for legendaries?

Nobody has the specific numbers. Just, your chance for it to drop goes up for every heroic kill where it doesn’t drop.

This is my assumption, currently if you kill Heroic Sark it’s 3% as LFR and Normal gets added to the Heroic roll.

LFR .5% + Normal 1% + Heroic 1.5% = 3%

What I’m praying is that every week it’s added every time, so this was the second week we are in so Heroic Sark had a 6% drop, next week be 9% and so forth.

Blizzard hasn’t really 100% told us how it works but I’m hoping it’s like this.

Not making the droprate retroactive is one of the stupidest things Blizzard’s ever done. Get to waste 3 months of my time not having it despite clearing Heroic every week. Really fun and fair game design worth appreciating.

A triumphant roar echoes from atop the seat of the aspects every 10 minutes. Either its fake news or millions of people play this game, raid and kill Sark often.

I had to pug heroic sark this week and I finally saw it drop for the first time. Wasn’t for me of course but I saw it drop.

I still to this day never seen it drop and I’ve been in heroic raids where there has been 6-8 Evokers…

I’m with you here, I’ve been killing it on heroic since week one and haven’t seen anyone loot the old gem of good fortune.

They have said that the bad luck protection is stronger this time around. It ramps up faster, so it’s stronger 1 week in than if it were active from the very start.
