Got home from work an hour ago and still can’t make a Horde character. Why is this even an issue? This isn’t stupid SoD so why aren’t we allowed to play what we want?

I hate to say it but let’s be real here… 92% of the people who roll on PvP servers can’t PvP to save their lives and are wannabe big dogs. They rely on that massive population difference so their 19 buddies can help them stomp that player 28 levels under them to feel validated. They don’t want PvP.

Yep. I made the undead I will play…and the orc who holds the name the blood elf not here yet will have there nice and easy.
I am hoping allinace gets a rush for these people.
But hate to sound jaded…unless SoD and cata has their people on strict raid lock down tonight, the alliance rush should have been here.
If only to take a name. More alliance name squatters, more horde creations.
I feel Blizzard could have handled this better. You choose your side at creation, period and you’re locked to that side old school PvP server style. That way those who sided Horde, can make Horde as they want to freely without fear later of being unable to.

I only had to wait about 10 minutes to get onto Nightslayer Horde. It oscillates back and forth between Horde locked and Ally locked due to the way they are doing faction balancing. Its going to continue doing so for a while over the weekend while those that are interested in a Classic Fresh get their chances to create characters.
If you cant create for the faction you want, wait a couple minutes and try again.

Because the PvP server is forced faction balance and everyone wans to play Horde
When i created my Horde on Nightslayer, Alliance was locked. Theres clearly interest in both factions.

I rolled alliance this time so I can kill blood elves in a year. I recommend everyone do the same.

you know what’s funny, the horde people i talk to literally tell me “my main motivation right now is to make alliance players suffer” like straight up 
so if you roll alliance i salute you

Feel put upon, downtrodden and oppressed if you wish. It doesnt change the fact that both factions are rotating locking creation with eachother. Alliance wouldnt lock if it wasnt getting too big of a lead on Horde creation.
It also doesnt mean you actually are put upon, downtrodden or oppressed. It means youre seeking an avenue of preemptive victimhood for some bizarre reason.
Dont worry though. In about 2 weeks when the meat of both populations start getting into mixed questing contested territory and Alliance starts getting rocked left right and center due to not having a 2+:1 population advantage and then all start rerolling PvE en masse… then youll have your chance at victimhood.

You sound like you’re trying very hard to find a fight where there isn’t one
There is one pvp server. It is programmed to enforce faction balance. Horde is currently locked. That’s all there is to the discussion, calm down
It would be nice to be able to join a queue or something rather than just sit and wait and hope the faction you want pops up
