there is no reason to " save " him.
hes there voluntarily. he can leave anytime he wishes.

Wrathion: I’m a BIG dragon.
Sylvanas: Hmmm. Dragon. Sure you are. Come along, Anduin… we have souls to save…
Andiun: (cocks a brow at Wrathion as he turns to follow Sylvanas) Later.
Wrathion: (following them) No. Really. I’m a dragon.
— Sylvanas and Anduin mount up and gallop away —
Wrathion: (runs after them) Really! I’m a dragon!

Being the dumb that blizzard is, wrathion will probably be the big bad of DF - or it will be his evil twin Ultwrathion.
Anduin doesn’t need to be saved, he is going back in willingly this time.
Wrathion is gonna be too busy causing trouble in Dragonflight to give a hoot about sassy little Anduin.
