Josh is without a doubt a creep and Method should have canned him years ago, they’re paying their dues now. Whether he is guilty of something or not isn’t for us to decide though, though the evidence thus far certainly doesn’t help his case.
That’s what I’m asking. I don’t know anything about Method, other than I hear their name on Blizzard showcases like arena tournaments and PvE things. I remember at one point watching some “Race for World First!” thing that Blizzard appeared to be putting on, and they featured prominently. Basically, everything I know of Method is from hearing their name being said on Blizzard streams.
Was this guy on any of the teams they invited to anything? Was he part of the Race for World First?
I agree he is a weird dude (not unusual for gamers) and did things publicly that were not OK. That doesn’t make him a criminal though. That makes him a knob.
As for the criminal stuff, like you said it isn’t for us to decide.
Race for world first was a method production, not blizzard. He was there but you barely even noticed since he wasn’t allowed to stream.
It was something pretty clear for anyone with more than 1 brain cells.
-Josh being on twitch for a while saying sexist things, calling female streamers wh*res and in general being an abusive incels with also racist beliefs
-He invites underaged girl fans to his house even on stream before he got banned
-A girl streamer he invited literally says how he rap ed her

It doesnt take much of brain power to put two and two together.
The worse part in all this was the fact that his fans were defending all that disgusting behavior that everyone else pointed out by pretending it is “memes” or fake twitch persona which means god knows how many pedos these kind of people have defended
TBF, have you seen the female portion of twitch? I’d have a hard time referring to some of them as anything else.
It’s pretty bad among some, and their viewers enable it.
it got worse after they added twitchirl
In my opinion, seeing Josh ‘doing things publicly that were not okay’ was enough to warn me to stay far, far away from him.
I don’t see how anyone could have witnessed his behavior towards women on his stream, and then laugh it off or ignore it and continue associations with him.
It doesn’t have to take something that is criminally actionable to want to sever relationships. It just takes witnessing a pattern of harassing behavior and taking a stand against such.
People have the right to do whatever they want with their body.
If straight men cant handle reality and want to blame women they should seek medical help asap.
I am not condoning their behavior, I consider female streamers who use their body for views to be quite sad but what is sadder are the people str8s who fall for it and thing they are important or that they are liked by a streamer used their name when they donated her money.
It’s basically non-sexual prostitution, it’s a sad thing twitch allows it, not even just allows it, seems to encourage it, none of them ever get banned.
Again nothing wrong with sexual or non sexual prostitution if it is consensual if they decide to do that as a job, it is their conscious choice.
If some straight virgin gamer TM ends up assaulting/hurting a non sexual or sexual prostitute because he thinks his desires are more important than consent or the well being of another person then that person needs to go to jail, and should have asked for medical help when he started thinking about it.
It seems many straight gamers have problem seeing the other sex as human and like to believe they should never be rejected or something.

Thank bloody god im gay and dont have to be connected to straight gamers because it seems there’s something seriously wrong with a portion of them when it comes to how they think about women.
I mean, there’s places for that if that’s what they want to do.
But it’s more about the double standard on twitch. Don’t ban the girls but slap huge bans on the guys. Alinity had to ask them to ban her for flashing.
And all those girls on twitch are breaking the ToS.

Are men banned on twitch for wearing lewd clothes and showing off their pecs and acting all sexual?
Yes, Pilav got banned for flashing his butt crack on accident (like, not even plumbers crack amount). There’s a bunch of other ones too.
It’s literally against twitch tos to wear provocative clothing or do provocative things to get donations.
Let’s not forget all the people who turned ASMR twitch into paid softcore adult entertainment.
Yeah, Twitch is just a really strange place at best. Seems like a place where people go who couldn’t hack it on YouTube.
Unless names and personas get blackmarked…
It pays better.
Yeah that shouldnt be happening, I can understand an accident but if male streamers are being banned for being similarly sexual then yeah, that is a double standard.
Though again, we have to blame the viewers like I mentioned because they are complicit in this very issue.
A straight insecure nerd will report a male guy because it makes them feel insecure/inferior/etc and want to get rid of him, the same viewer will absolutely not report a female streamer who does the same because he enjoys it.
So i am not 100% how twitch is completely at fault, most major sites depend on multiple reports to act on things, and if the viewers dont report because they like that rule breaking behavior then the viewers are the issue.
It is similar to how the report system works in some forums, someone who says something popular but tos breaking doesnt get reported, something who says something unpopular but not tos breaking will get mass reported
