The worst PvP class.
The worst tank in the game.
2nd to worst DPS in the game(this is accounting for the fact that classes have functioning DPS specs such as Fire Mage. Yes, I know frost is lower than Warrior, you have fire to play, Warriors have nothing to fall back on.)
So. What’s going on here Blizzard?
You targeted Warrior’s in a damn meme at Blizzcon, have given them no buffs and even went as far as to say “Warriors are fine” when they are undeniably the worst class in the game(it’s not an opinion, this is fact, check logs).
You have buffed other classes that were already in a better position than Warriors, screwed Warriors for their runes for 2 phases(no new abilities besides the continuously bland “generic melee attack” we already have), and were ballsy enough to give us 2 runes for the same ability(slam) which no other class has ever had. “Well if you don’t like slam…TRY SLAM!”
So what’s going on here Blizzard? Is this some form of retaliation? Are you punishing Warrior players because they enjoyed their class? This truly seems to be the case.

I think the nut blizzard really needs to crack is how to design a game that doesn’t encourage people to meta game to the point that if they can’t get 6/6 week one due to their class being slightly underperforming they write posts like this.
Yes our DPS sucks but as a prot warrior main for most of my life at this point it’s more frustrating when they nerf prot warriors only genuinely fun rune and then give us something useless like intervene or a heal and less rage per offensive attack. I don’t care if I’m doing good dps or not I’m a prot warrior I just want to have fun runes like the other classes and not be ignored by blizzard.

Go to warcraft logs. Warriors are not the worst DPS. There are 7 specs below them.
Just wait for p3 when we get Shield spec for rapidfire shield slams.
If we’re lucky we’ll also get Gladiator stance for shield charge

For sure, I just wanted to also have fun this phase too. I know the runes they’ve datamined will be fun I just feel like I’m in fun jail this whole phase while every other class got atleast 1 new interesting things.

The only class that is below Warrior is Paladin. Paladin STRONGLY outclasses Warrior in PvP and tanking.
Other classes such as Mage, Shaman, Hunter and Druid have other specs to DPS as that outperform Warrior. Warrior has nothing.
So again. Warrior is the Worst tank, dps and PvP class. AND they were screwed on their runes for 2 phases. This is targeted.

Change it to 95 and warrior is very firmly middle of the pack. I also find it extremely funny that you disregard other specs that are below you.

Again, there are SPECS not CLASSES. You have another spec you can roll as another class. You do not have this option as a Warrior.
They should address the low specs too for sure, but Warrior is by far the most screwed.
To hear “Warriors are fine” from Blizzard was truly shocking.

Warriors are fine, they don’t have to be top dps. We cleared Gnomer last night with a warrior tank and dps in the raid. The real warrior players will be fine, the fotm kiddos will move on to the next OP class that will be nerfed and then come cry on the forums. If warriors are still in this spot at the end of the phase then we can talk. Cheers!
I personally think that Warrior’s Gig this phase is to be more of a utility and support than Maximum zug zug With what we have.
PVP : Mortal strike’s 50% Healing reduction with double charge + hamstring
PVE Fury: Improved Demo and battle Shout
Prot: Feels good but you need to be Deep prot IMO to really enjoy it, Shield slam is doing great threat with Dev sunders.
