account locked currency, once per toon per account.

it was hotfixed. it was giving 3 per toon earlier and people have farmed out the set

From what I’ve seen that’s about right… if its not, you’re not far off… nobody is supposed to end the week at 100 or anything like that.

I have yet to see anyone with any of the sets. You will have to forgive my extreme skepticism.

Your only source seems to be “trust me bro”.

I just saw a paladin with it, so someone found a way to get more than intended

It may be like delve keys where there are a wide variety of different sources, but a limit on how many you can get per week?

Please stop spreading misinformation

I thought I did too but it was just the normal t2 version.

Man am I gonna see you in every thread complaining?

They should just make weekly’s a middle finger instead of an exclamation.

Hiding the tokens behind weeklies and an achievement is scummy, especially since you cannot get them again on alts. I understand they didn’t want to have people unlocking half the rewards within the first 1-2 weeks of the event but I expected the tokens would be given for each TW dungeon completed with around 1-2 tokens being given to you, or even 3-5 for the first TW completed each day.

I personally never minded the dailies. Because they were usually simplistic. You did that for a week and boom you were done.

And then they added world quests, which was litterally the same thing. Just with more quest options. And I personally wasn’t a fan.

I think the real frustration here is if you start late into the event. Good luck LOL.

Or how about a new player. Good luck mounting off. Good luck with like your 1 mount.

archives quest doesnt show tokens as a reward.

Yea that is a reason I like seasonal caps like for conquest points or crests best out of any kind of cap. That way people who start late can catch up. They’re still doing the same amount of stuff they just weren’t around earlier to do it week by week.

A event-long cap that just increases every week with repeatable activities that give bronze would probably be the best way to do it.

So how the tokens work is as follows.

You’ll get tokens from weekly events at the celebration until you earn your first 100.

Then you get an achievement which allows you to earn tokens by doing the celebration activities. Rapidly speeding up the amount you can get.

Considering the event runs until the 7th of January 2025, you’ve got plenty of time.

not for me sadly

I personally love WQs, or at least the concept of them. I didn’t mind dailies myself since I grew up doing repetitive stuff in games for progression, such as skilling in RS. And this is an MMO afterall, grinding and farming will always be a thing.

Though I really loved and enjoyed WQs when they released back in Legion, I often found them fun, simple to do but complex in some way (Depending on the task), and some combination of the two. To this day, my favorite category for WQs were the Kirin Tor ones since those are minigames.
