So how does it work in bfa? I get to 120, do heroics until warfronts, warfronts into mythic+2-10, lfr raids until I stand a chance against someone? that’s a lot of pve content just to play a pvp gamemode.

Use Conquest as the primary gear path. You run through a set of 355s, and when you’re done a set of 370s. By contrast, LFR is 340. You get Conquest in PVP.

Initially be on the lookout for world quests and emissaries that provide epic gear as well. Once you’re eligible for warfronts, do those for the free 370.

Actually, initially initially, get a set of crafted 300s, too. With green 270 questing gear, you’ll feel like tissue paper in max level battlegrounds.
