They do or say something along those lines on a somewhat regular basis though. It’s usually about communication. Maybe this time it’ll stick!
I have some design qualms related to the curse surges but on the level its a pretty alright patch so far. What exactly did they miss?

that’d be nice, I’m not holding my breath or nothing, but that’d be nice.
The game could use some tweaks and some fixes, but otherwise I’m mostly getting what I expect for my money paid.

I think it had to do with fixing some ui and other bug issues that have been in the game since midnight pre-patch. the game still has some ui issues that really need resolved, like tooltip info on the map when hovering over quests and the like.

That was 12.0.5 wasn’t it?
So 12.0.7 was the “getting back on track” patch; 12.1 should now be just our baseline quota of glitches and grumbles.

Because your using that saying DO better your going to have to DO BUTTER cause the game is what it is, the fact your actually using that makes it even more clear they won’t.
The “do better” was for investors, not you. They will “do better” to mitigate the public backlash to negative game elements.
For the past 20 years, it’s always been the next patch / expansion. Why are you surprised???
I’d take a straight up repeat of season 1 over this lol.
So far it seems to be going rather well. Not clear what they wanted to improve.
The question is “do better than what?”
I’m assuming the are trying to do slightly better than a rabid syphilitic raccoon hunting a rabid wolverine. They still have a ways to go to get better than that.
they said “in the future”, it’s now now, not then now, the future is still in the future.
