Ignore the orange name! Let’s see where this Path goes.next stop: the transmog station
I hope you don’t want to Respec, going from arcane to fire would mean rolling a shaman or something.
Tauren Fire Mage…that’s an idea.
And just to clarify I was just making a joke there, I’m always supportive of novel character concepts like that.
Cross class hybrids are always fun to RP! I play a rogue/monk dual class from a background standpoint and it’s one of the more unique ways to play a Mistweaver I have seen.
I mean, Balance looks like a mix of arcane and fire magic anyway.
I love it! It is not a combination I see a lot but I have always liked the idea. I am interested to see where this path takes you. Have fun!

Yep, gottat get that level 58 tabard tho
Self cooking hamburgers and steaks.
I’m sold.
good luck on your journey, and please keep us posted about his progress
I’ve always been a big fan of all base classes being available to all races, so I fully support this.
Don’t see why not! Might suggest making their in-game class a Priest, though, if only for the fact that you can use Mage set lookalikes.
Oh don’t worry about me I got me transmog all set buddy
Just need a nice red one to match some horde colors and I’ll be good
Now to write the bio!
It took me a strangely long time to remember why Tauren Mage would be an unusual race/class combo.
‘But why on a druid instead of a mage?’ I thought, taken in by the beautiful vision of a world in which race/class restrictions don’t exist.
I went with tauren priest, just so I get cloth armors that look magey.
IF you can’t even wear a wizard hat. Why bother.
I would have gone priest as well but to each their own. If it works it works.
Ive seen a Tauren Priest played as a Mage. But I think Druid is cool too. And this mage can turn into a bird like Khadgar!!
hey now, i’m still just an apprentice, lets slow down on the bird transformations, and even the wizard hats. Gotta earn mine first!
I rp a tauren “mage”. Technically a ley walker who was previously a runemaster.
There is also a tauren named Imry who has been rping a tauren mage for some time. I do not recall if they are MG or WrA.
There’s a lot of interesting dynamics that can be put in there as well as conflict regarding the shu’halo distrust and general dislike of the use of arcane magic. Which is why I went the route I did.
As long as you answer those hard “why / how” questions people are willing to give it a chance.
Wasn’t that only in the RPG books?
