Who here is going to quit?
And if you’re not going to quit, what’s our plans on the next emote we’re getting cancelled?
I think the riots will start when they take away our power to /fart on people.

/e and you can craft whatever emote you want to your hearts content.
Doesn’t work for opposite faction but I get where you’re going with this
PLEASE NO In-game shop on Anniversary servers.
I’ve never been a fan of the paid boosts personally, but they also aren’t something I’ve ever really thought of as taking much away from the game, which is maybe interesting coming from a fairly traditional #NoChanges leaning player.
If someone wants to pay to jump to 60, honestly don’t really care, the only thing that matters to be honest is if TBC will be a forever server.
Then you either haven’t thought it through entirely or didn’t try and level a toon during TBC Classic. Old World was a ghost town.
That’s funny. I guess you’re new to the Classic forums…

Not as funny as your non-rebuttal.
The population already took a massive dip during the launch (likely in response to the boost) and the last graph Blizz put out showed that, add everyone that was left boosting on top of that and it’s obvious several people wound up struggling much more than normal to find low level groups. You can’t argue with the numbers.
So in the end, you simply haven’t thought it through.
Translation: I want to feel good about my ideas of quitting in this situation, and I need to see other people’s opinions in order to validate my own feelings.
More likely your attempt to make believe there is some dichotomy is only something that works on yourself in the mirror.
Anyway, for whatever reason you decided to nitpick my own opinion, you clearly haven’t thought this through.
Welcome to the forums. And welcome to WoW Classic.
I wouldn’t care. It doesn’t impact my gameplay in any way
The only way it could is the whole idea that people who boost don’t know how to play their class, and people already don’t know how to play their class without buying a boost so really nothing changes
So you still have no rebuttal to the key point which was made.
Concession accepted.
There is no if. It’s happening, and probably another Deluxe Edition.
nobody will quit you will accept the boost and you will, dare i say, enjoy it
I will quit insta.
How does one enjoy boosting?
For the boosters it takes away a big chunk of the game from them, and for the non-boosters it makes the world more empty. Lose-lose situation.
While obviously any type of boost will hurt grouping, the bigger impact is there simply aren’t that many people leveling 1-60 in TBC, and with the increased leveling speed added in the 1-60 zones, its often simply not worth the hassle to even group up for most stuff, even dungeons where its simply faster and easier to get a carry from a guildy, especially with most people already having most of their alts at 60+ with the exceptions of horde paladins and alliance shaman who will all be furiously leveling up the first few weeks of pre-patch.
So no the reason most of the old zones will be dead has little to do with people purchasing a one time boost, and more to do with that they are simply done with that content, and they will have been done for a while even before TBC launches.
Definitely this.
