Year of the Rooster isn’t until 2029. I severely doubt WoW will still be around then.
I’m intrigued at Year of the Rabbit in 2023 though.
That’s because 3 of the 4 times, they’ve matched the element and animal.
2018 was year of the Earth Dog.
2019 was year of the Earth Pig.
2021 is year of the Metal Ox.
Those 3 fit the themes they gave.
For some reason though, last year was year of the Metal Rat, and Squeakers has nothing to do with Metal.
If they do stick with elements, the next 2 years should be interesting.
2022 is year of the Water Tiger and 2023 is year of the Water Rabbit. (Followed by Wood Dragon and Wood Snake)

The fact we don’t have a Snake mount yet bothers me.
We have amazing Cobra models, but still no mounts for them.

I wanna ride a large sack of money mount. Needs a huge Blizzard logo on it Bounces around and makes chaching sounds when you press the spacebar.
Considering someone already has it, and it was a Make-A-Wish gift, I severely doubt it’ll be available for everyone else.

That’s possibly the strongest incentive for me to keep playing.
I’m chuckling at the the folks that spent 70 bucks on the rather silly Fae transmog that could’ve gotten a neat mount for the same price if they’d waited.
You realize… if they subbed and let it stay subbed… they just got the mount and the silly fae mog for free, right?

Trade you , I was born the year of iron dog. Let just say that says’ it all.
They’ll probably just rerelease the Heart of the Aspects store mount but in a different tint of gold.
I wonder what a monkey will be if we make it that far.
