but uh… i have no idea what races on the alliance would be good for rogue. specifically for pvp… and even more specifically, for doing bgs (love bgs).
i ‘think’ my best options so far, are either dwarf, kul’tiran, worgen, or to wait and make a lightforged, but i’m not 100% on anything yet.
and so i’m here for a second/third/etc opinion, and advice on what to make. so c’mon gd, what race should i go with for my alliance rogue?
It’ll be Night Elf or Human.
The one that you like, and if/when you arrive at the point where you realize how much of a difference certain racial abilities can make then you revisit the decision.

For your edification, I have commented on three rogues of alliance races. As you can see, gnome is the obvious choice! I hope you have a great day!

for sure thought you’d suggest one of the 4 i listed for the racials…
If you care about racials, night elf or human
But you shouldnt care about them especially for bgs. Play what you will find pleasing to look at whenever you’re on your login screen and whatever combat animations will make you excited to play your character
see, the reason i care about racials, is my playstyle is that i go all-in, usually getting nuked-down by the enemy team while my buddies get crap done. yes i die, but i make a good distraction.
you’re describing a warrior not a rogue.
You can do that no matter your race 
the 20% orc stun reduc racial is rarely ever going to buy you the 0.6 seconds you needed to spin the flag for a game winning lead
Shadowmeld is probably what you’re looking for to drop combat and get around faster or avoid a cc
Nah i’d much rather have a good rogue stalling the enemy team than a warrior. A good rogue using his control kit is one of the sexiest thing to witness in a bg
well, i also like to pick people off, and slow-down the enemy.
the dying as i distract, is more when it comes to flag-carriers ‘n’ stuff.
