So I wait for 9am to login and do my patron orders

That price is set by players. If you farm them yourself, its cost is Zero.

If you farm the mats, you could also have somebody else craft it for you in Public Orders. Your expenses is just your Tip to the crafter.

I make all my own stuff (Or have my husband do it) so I suppose that’s fair… But I still don’t use consumables during delves unless I’m purposely trying to do T10 or higher delves.

Thats why you have to learn them. It wont be learned if you do nothing.

And yet I’ve soloed Zek on my mage w/o consumes or gems, and mostly cheap 1 star enchants that she made while leveling enchanting.

Feel free to look at my achieves. I’m an open-world/LFR hero.

Hardly what anyone would consiser “leet”.

If you want to make a complaint, that’s fine. Just don’t blow it up with hyperbolic nonsense.

Pots/flasks only go up to 3 star iirc.

Only Equipment goes past 3 Stars.

It doesn’t make sense that they’d ask for a recipe that can only be learned from a specialization I still haven’t, well, specialized in.

Havent seen beyond 3 stars on my crafting table on flasks and pots. Maybe it’s true.

But my alchemy trinket is 5 stars although it lacks crest. I thought i used 5 stars mats for it. Maybe max available quality not all 5 stars.

Alchemy stone is a trinket, thus equipment. That’s why it goes to 5 stars.

Only equipment goes to 5 stars. Everything else maxes out at 3 stars.

Since i am already on 2 stars on flasks and pot. I would be working for that last star. GREAT.

Yep, 3 star flasks are pretty nice, there’s a fair jump.

Can you show me where I even mentioned anything about crafting 5 star items? I’m an alchemist. I’m just making low level stuff for me and the guildies.

I’m not doing M+ or raids, so why are you harping on what I do or don’t use?

You’re having an argument I never even brought up.

Nobody uses public work orders because you can’t set a minimum quality. The only reason to use a public work order is for items that have no quality levels. Change that and suddenly people will use the system.

Will there be problems like people putting up orders with no mats and tiny tips? Obviously. But ignore those and do work for the people that try.

But there is already a problem of putting your mats up and getting a Q1 in return. That’s more worth fixing imo.

That’s true for equipment.

How about consumables?

You provide all 3-stars mats. Any crafter would craft it into 3 star.

That is not true with the concentration and knowledge point system in place. If I put a public order up for a leg enchantment with 3 star mats and some guy that spec’d into crafting mail armor picks it up I’m getting a 2 star in return UNLESS he uses his concentration on it for me.

Bingo.

And make them require mats.

Thats equipment. Try consumables.

Since i now have plenty of 3 stars herbs. Let me put them on public order to see if somebody would craft it and return it into 2 stars flasks/pots.

I’m tracking. My thought is that KP’s don’t have a reliable way of being obtained, gold and mats, do, but, then again, that’s just my completionist mindset.

However, I will say I rarely do the ones that require a bunch of complex mats (super-mega-ultra alloys, like those sacred ones). I just let those hang, and then awkwardly walk passed Auralia in Mereldar when she knows I’ve completed most of her other smithin’ requests…except that one.

I don’t even do ‘modern’ consumables for an 11. I use my cheap DF flasks and the DF augment and call it a day :+1:

Enchantments are consumables. My leatherworkers aren’t going to craft you a 3 star stormbound armor kit without using concentration because they are not spec’d into that knowledge path. Whether you provide Q3 mats or not.

An enchanter spec’d into designated disenchanting is not going to craft you a 3 star oil without using concentration. And so on.

The option to set a minimum quality with the added requirement that you must supply all of the mats at that point would be a benefit to the system.

Yeah if I have it on me when I find myself in the delve I wouldn’t turn away using a flask or anything else but I don’t go out of my way for it. I think I’ve used up all of the phials of vers that I had leftover from DF now though.

On day one I went and ate all of my fortune cookies to sell back the fortunes. :frowning:

I’m thrifty though and rarely have more than ~500k gold to spare in-game.

That is true.

When i had someone made me 5 star 619 gun, i had all max quality mats. I have to talk to the crafter first to know if he made a 5 star 619 gun before. He said yes… multiple times.

Thats when i use a Personal Order for him.

I dont put expensive crafting items on Public Orders… it has to be on Personal Order.
