So yeah no I will not do it. I do not care how you cheer leader about it.

pretty sure something is bugged, i finished the monthly reward but several of the trading post objectives repeatedly show up under my tracked quests. i clear them, log out, come back later and they’re back up again

Same here. First week Trading post was up everything worked.
Got on my alt to do the same thing and as you say you close it out and it come back.
Which is why I never going to do it no matter how earth shattering any offerings the trading post has. I do not care if Blizz won the copyright to playboy bunnies and started selling them in the trading post. I WILL NOT DO IT ANY MORE! ZERO!!!
Go got that BLIZZ??? DEVS??? Do you hear me now?

Just… Ignore it

I spent the first month logging into “completed ohn’ahran plains questline” on my screen . Multi dollar company issues I guess.

This is one of the most petty reasons to boycott a feature I’ve ever read in my life. Oh no, Blizzard borked the tracking so it’s a little bugged right now, BURN THE ENTIRE THING DOWN, CAPITALISM IS A SIN, DON’T TALK TO ME OR MY SON EVER AGAIN!

Seems like someone might need to switch to decaf for a bit.

Just park a low level alt near the trading post. Log into that character on the first of the month and complete the initial quest. Done… move on.

I use my Evoker for the purpose. Not doing anything else with it.

Then don’t it’s optional

I feel like the OP’s issue is that the trading post quest just pops up automatically with no way to permanently ignore it?

there are people giving you grief in here and saying it doesnt matter or whatever, but the fact of the matter is that if you turn tracking off on something, it should be off.

Correct.
Not sure how they could have borked a simple thing.

OP I’m curious why you’re not a fan of the Trading Post? Not trying to ‘cheerleader’ but logically speaking it does just kind of reward you for doing what you already do, by playing the game.

It is innocuous and doesn’t shift gameplay as P2W or anything.

And yeah I can see it being annoying for the tracking for something you don’t wanna do, same damn thing happens to me when those Tuskarr scrolls drop, I dread picking them up every time.

Auto-accept quests have been a sore spot for many years now. I wish Blizzard would properly address them and give people a meaningful way to ignore them. I think Mograine is still waiting for my alts to go through the Shadowlands portals at this point

The #1 thing I hate is permanent quests in my quest logs that will not go away.
The Trading post is like that fake homeless person standing at the red light hoping it turns green soon. Or that person breaking store rules standing at the grocery store asking for money.

I totally hate time kill zone wanting me to do something that I do not want to do.
I am not a big fan of mogs and if I want a mog I’ll use the original mog method and not this trade fashion show.

Huh, I may disagree but I’m mature enough to accept your answer, I can see what ya mean.

This happens every month to me.

Every
Single
Month.
