We literally have three different flavors of elf and three flavors of humans (Kul’tiran, normal, and Undead but that’s kind of splitting hairs) not including dwarves and gnomes. WoW is pretty darn uninspired.
I will say though that they did miss the mark on not giving us female Hrothgar or male Viera, those would be pretty nice to try out.
