So I thought the on-ramp to Mythic+ was supposed to be easier in Season 2?

Mythic 0’s are tuned so high, mob damage and health out of control.

The changes to the legacy dungeons are awful. Mechagon, TOP and Motherlode changes are all worse.

You think the exodus from Season 1 was fast? You aint seen nothing.

Not to argue but I thought Motherlode was actually EASIER than it was in in BFA.
Esp. the “lookin for Azerite?” boss. She doesn’t even do that ability anymore and now she seems like a cakewalk.
Also, they greatly nerfed the amount of trash you need to get the place done which means I’m going ot try and find an invisiblity pot method for higher versions of it.

Theatre of Pain’s Lich boss is the only one that got changed and I will agree she’s harder but the mechanic change actually results in more dps uptime on her than before, so it’s almost a wash.

Mechagon last boss fight is also easier but jury’s still out if the place as a whole is actually easier or not. It still has that stupid steam maze which I hate b/c i’m naturally impatient LOL. Also, I’m not sure when to kite the first boss under the hammer as it used to be on a plating buff, but now it seems you want it to interrupt the ground pound? no one can seem to agree on this.

Again, I never thought blizz could mess up scaling content…

Instead someone was like, hey guys, lets take maybe the most popular addition to the game we have ever added and start people at a +11, that should go well.

the leap from M0 to M+2 was wimpy though.

Give it a few weeks of gear acquisition and knowledge. It will get much better.

its scaling content lol. How about balance it right like they did for 4 expansions

Because they have also stated that they want the new M0 to feel like an old +10 so that players who want a dungeon that is challenging and un-timed have something. I’m not really that fond of the key squish, but in the last 4 expansions, most players weren’t going for +10s on the opening week of the season.

Honestly this feels a bit like the last season of DF when they started the key squish, only with less dungeon knowledge. If you come in mythic geared when the new season starts, you can jump right in and progress- but if you are coming in with heroic gear from the previous tier, you have to be very on top of it with mechanics or you’re probably going to have a bad time.

Anyone coming into this season with heroic gear probably didn’t do much M+, so their on ramp is M0. It’s a no timer option to learn the dungeons and get a little push on their gear before starting keys.

They didn’t say it would be easier. They said it would be a smoother transition from M0 to M+, which it is. You need M0 to be challenging in order to actually see and learn the mechanics. M0 being a basic skill check isn’t bad for the game.

M0 drops 636 now. If you go in at 620, it’s gonna feel tough.

You can do mythic 0’s at 610-620 if ur good, the lack of HP will hurt in some places though.

This season feels even harder. Dungeons arent fun at all and way overtuned at lower keys.
