It’s awesome, I can get full bis gear just by playing world pvp (no rated pvp). World pvp happens all days and nights in every zone, at any time. By using pvp tool, I can dismount players who fly scouting the areas. I don’t have to sneak behind low health, low level players and ambush them to feel superior. Unlike era, I don’t have to pay to win by spending gold on consumables/wbuffs to beat some passbyers who just want to go from point A to point B. I don’t have to think I am so skilled when half of my dmg is auto-attacks. I don’t need to be nolife afk in AV and feel superior to some casuals and pve/fresh 60 pleps. If I beat one I know I outplay him, not because I spend more gold, play better class, and have been nolife sitting on the road waiting to ambush some random dude who is either low level or in pve gear and pve spec.

All I have seen is emotional dmg from witnessing the reality. None can bring up a reasonal argument.
Its actually not. Especially if u start late in the season u can get the wpvp currency from either killing enemies or doing quests with warmode on. Really good for getting wpvp gear which is only 3ilvls lower than gladiator gear, but u cant buy rings, necklace n trinkets with wpvp currency. That has to be honor or conquest.
Personnaly wpvp in hallowfal with the big crystal shining in the background is a really good experience.
I dont get a lot of wpvp on whitemane nowadays on era, besides horde ganking in redrisge lowbies
You do get honor and conquest from warcrates, and they drop very often. Arguably, it’s faster to farm conquest from warcrates than rated PvP.
You also get weekly world pvp quest that also rewards honor and conquest.

You can do the same in retail with PvP chests. They drop recipes that all sell for 10k plus
Oh yeah, some of them do. I sold some for 40K+ earlier in the season, and tokens were cheaper too.
Some of the recipes now are quite cheap though, like 1k or less sometimes.
yeah see to me all your describing is a means to an end to get loot. there’s no agency or stakes or over coming significant challenges/adversity. neither is it organically derived as everyone there is for gear. the whole systems seem mechanical and sterile. to me that isn’t pvp thats just going through the motions to get gear. classic wow is about the journey even for a pvper.
I camped a disc priest for an hour last week cus they killed my rare mob before I got there.

I hope you aren’t implying classic has any form of difficulty lol. The hardest part of classic is having enough patience to play such a miserably easy and distressingly slow game. It’s like everyone that enjoys classic wow has a poor functioning nervous system and can’t handle more than the 9-12 apm gameplay
