This thing is awesome! I love how it seems so much more maneuverable… I know its technically not faster but due to its design its just so fun to fly around with. Its going to be hard for me not to fly around in anything else… Bigger mounts are just so clunky. Who else loves their mage disc?

yeah mage mount is cooler 
, but meh would have prefered something original , transform into an elemental ? (but shamans), i guess crow form was the 1 thing they though ( but druids)…
would have been cool flying like Iceman for frost , for fire / arcane same thing but instead of frozen path a fire / arcane path

Druid form is horrid… Its ugly and there isn’t even a land mount variation so Druids literally got screwed. I actually like all the other ones, the hunter mount is kinda bad too though.
Mage mount is easily my favorite…
i mean using a bird form (mages in wow lore transform into birds ) , Medivh and Khadgar are prime examples.

I too absolutely LOVE the Mage disc, in all of it’s spec-unique variety!
Like, seriously; I’m all about my Mage, so the fact that we got a specialized mount that changes based on the specs was brilliant, but on top of that I seriously appreciated the detail they put into each.
- Arcane is amazing, with the unique glyphs placed around the tri-points as well as around the disc itself
- Ice is gorgeous, you can -feel- the chill given off by the aura
- And Fire is glorious! Even casting it feels epic as it has it’s own mini-explosion!
Yup, I love me the Mage disc. Plus the ceremonial video was cool, and seeing Jaina rock her own during the Zandalar quest line was super bonus points of awesomeness.
And like you say, it feels super badass flying around on the thing; other bigger mounts really do feel clunky, but zooming through jungles or city streets on the disc feels like a super-hero movie!

I love mine. I use it every time I fly. I use the Llothien Prowler (fox mount from Legion) for ground travel and the disk for flight.

It has been my default mount for my mage since shortly after I obtained it. The only other mount my mage uses is one of the talbuk ruinstriders for zones where flying is not possible.
The details are nice, it changes with spec, and best of all it is not obnoxiously large.
I also really like the prowler, but I just cannot use it with a draenei. I feel bad for its back each time I see my character sitting on it.

I actually always used the squeaky rat before I got the mage mount last week. It was my fave since it came out…
I finally got my AOTC last night, and will still prob use the mage disc over the void dragon.
