People are going rage at me for saying this, but lets be real here, how many people playing TBC Classic right now with dual warglaives do you think got those in any fair way?
GDKP forces people to buy gold in order to gear up toons, it does nothing but influence botting, boosting and gold buying because people these days are so hellbent on obtaining fame and attention from others and showing everyone else how they’re ‘better than them’.
Warglaives have always been the coolest weapons in WoW, even in retail today they’re still some of the best looking weapons and awesome collectors items.
Now that we’re actually playing TBC again, people are going nuts over trying to get dual warglaives because it makes them feel ‘superior’ to everyone else.
I feel like the vast majority of people playing right now that have dual warglaives didn’t get those weapons in a fair way and actually bought gold in order to get them in GDKP’s for insane prices. Rage at me and call me an idiot all you want. This is just the way people are these days, or I should say how people have always been.
Just like in the real world a good majority of wealthy or famous people never earned anything legitimately and used underhanded schemes and participated in illegal affairs to get where they are now, but everyone ignores it, the media censors it, and everyone just accepts it as the norm and no true justice or punishment is handed out to those people and they just live happily ever after.
Ahh humanity, what disgusting creatures we are, huh?
Can’t wait for the ‘Gearscore’ and ‘Link Achievement’ craze to return in WotLK Classic, along with GDKP stacked on top of it all. Its going to be an absolute slopfest of toxicity. Wrath was the height of WoWs popularity and playerbase, and I feel sorry for all the people wanting to return to play Wrath again, only to find out that the game has become nothing but a hub for gold sellers/buyers, RWT and elitist minmax-minded players. WoW is basically dead at this point. Retail is trash, classic is nothing but boosting, botting, RWT, and GDKP, and the soul of the game died way back in cataclysm, where blizzard also started to get heavy on adding shop items like mounts, pets, etc. To try and milk more money from their dying game.
i personally know people who buy gold to obtain what they wants and non of them does it to feel superior, it is just because “why not? money is nothing to me”
so i came to realize that…
everyone care about the results, no one cares about the method
anyone would want to pay $$ to save the effort and time
people are playing to do what we wanna do.
in the end it’s just a game, no one should be bothered much about what’s happening within it.
Well, what is fair to you in regards to loot distribution of highly sought after items such as Warglaives?
Is buying priority on them in a GDKP “worse” than master looting them to yourself as the GM or an Officer or a guild?
Because I would say doing one of those two things is the only way you’re realistically getting double WG’s before TBCC ends. So if ya really want them… you gotta do what you gotta do.
Do you feel better getting all of that out? Do you really think that asking a question would make ppl read your wall of text to try to make your special point?
Has that worked for you in the past or is this a new idea you are trying to get someone to actually read your opinion?
OP Definitely has a point though. Everyone wants to look cool with dual glaives. Its not “wow hes got dual glaives, he must be lucky.” anymore, its “Lol look at this clown, I wonder how much gold he spent on those.”
The playerbase has destroyed this game because of the GDKP garbage that they started.
And of course we’ll most likely see ‘gearscore’ return in wrath because why not? someone will make a gearscore addon and stuff on purpose just to further destroy the game.
its more likely those going this route may be in guilds where they are number 8 on the list.
GM’s other half needs them. then their 2 friends since grade school. one of them has a significant other. these 4 people get BOTH glaives…then its their turn.
or they can gdkp it. Since waiting for 4 people to get 2 glaives…gives some players ample time to make money in game. or yes, other options.
I can’t judge users of the other options. Same reason I can’t judge people who spend say $400 for a bottle of booze. I personally hate scotch. However…for those that do, there is $400 bottles of this stuff. I am told its worth it. I will take their word for it. I as said hate scotch.
I see no point to a $400 bottle of scotch. But for those that do and have it…enjoy that purchase to its fullest.
Retail fixed this. Just saying. Personal loot said hi. Oh tom got the drop. its an upgrade. Tom can’t even trade that away. For love nor money. its his. forever.
Got literal millions from small businesses I own and products I sell, never once have I ever cared about buying gold or spending money on this game other than the monthly sub, not even the store mounts or the ‘Delux Edition’ of TBCC.
All you need for gold right now is a capped mage or paladin to AoE farm. Its way easier to make gold in WoW than people think and its sad that everyone complains about GDKP. I don’t even do GDKPs and I still managed to get the mainhand glaive on my warrior, and I’m currently trying to get the offhand one before TBCC ends.
People that complain about GDKP, and boosting are usually bitter and jealous of others IRL. Either they’re plagued by poverty or life just hasn’t treated them well and it causes them to develop this hateful mentality and they just want to bring other people down and watch them suffer to not feel like they’re the only ones.
Because of this the terms and insults like ‘incel’ or ‘simp’ Were created literally by the ‘Incels’ and ‘Simps’ themselves just to use that insult on the people they envy or hate.
Thats just the mindset of someone who has failed in life or has suffered misfortune and they don’t have anywhere else to turn to and they sit and seethe with fury at the world. In most cases these people just end up committing suicide, In extreme cases, these are the people that do mass shootings and massacres, which further damns the freedom of the people because it also opens up opportunities for the corrupted government to enforce gun laws and to disarm the people.
But remember for the last parts above I’m talking about people that have that unique and particular mindset in general, not the people complaining about GDKPs on the WoW forums, lol.
You know, you’re not wrong about this.
I’ve personally never did anything illegal or shady to get to where I am now, but I do know very much about these ‘underhanded schemes’ and ‘illegal affairs’ but this is mainly done by the ‘super rich’ or top celebrities.
