That has nothing to do with the actual cost amount
It does, you don’t need everything in the game. Some items and things are gold sinks and vanity items not meant for everyone.
Old school still had a bank and slots for extra bags. So nothing “old school” about the way you do or don’t use storage.
I will probably buy the first 4. Tab 5 I can afford but can’t justify the cost since saving a bit of time sending stuff from one character to another isn’t worth 2.5 million.
One and see how I go, I only want the WB for transferring stuff, I have 3 guild banks with 7 tabs each so, I don’t think I need too many WB tabs.
What I can afford.
I’m having a hard time seeing value after 3, even that 3rd is going to be a stretch.
Any boe gear you get should be equipped in the season you earn it in because it’ll be outpaced by world quest/event gear at the next patch. Selling early is usually the name of the game for mog collectors and early season gearing.
As for mats, mats don’t make money do they sit in your bank. Very very few mats appreciate over any length of time. Certainly not at the same pace costs increase. Mats should regularly be converted into sellable goods (or sold themselves) to keep gold coming in.
Two, maybe three. If I “need” 4 someday, I could see buying it, but am doubtful I will. Five is a never. Not gonna happen at 2.5m gold. I have the gold to buy it, but as someone pointed out earlier, that’s a lot of game time tokens to waste spending the gold on a bank tab.
(And before you tell me it’s cheaper to work irl for the sub - I derive enjoyment paying for the game by playing it, so that is not relevant to me.)
One, two if I “need” it for some reason.
I have been using alts with their own guild banks for years, been working just fine. I’m not blowing gold just to avoid a few log in screens.
When you run 75 add-ons, you’ll want to
I’m going to do the only thing that makes sense, and if you’re honest you will too.
I’m going to buy as many tabs as I can afford and spend hours developing a detailed organization plan and meticulously placing items in the correct places.
…only to stop 2 weeks later and just shove everything into the first tab in no order whatsoever so that it gives me anxiety to even open and look at it.
Until you you get to things that can’t be transferred that way.
That’s what the first tab will be for.
This. Most of my toons have largely empty banks anyway. I’m also planning to focus on just one character in TWW, so a shared bank is pretty useless.
Zero. I’ll wait until they reduce the price or make them free because the amount is ridiculous. I focus on one character mostly, so this whole warband thing is a meh for me.
Not going to happen.
2, only more if i happen to get rich without much additional effort or thought.
I tend to keep the gold for tokens so, probably 2. Maybe three.
That might not be enough for all the junk I got around a dozen characters, though.
This thread makes me realize I need WoW Hoarders or Marie Kondo to help me clean out my bank and bags.
Marie: Does this moss agate spark joy?
Me: …but I may need it.
Marie: It’s been unused in your bank for 15 years.
Me:
Nah, I’ll probably just gear them up the old-fashioned way.
PvP conquest gear crates are account-bound and have been the game since SL I believe.
There’s just not much of a need unless Warbound gear ends up being the same.
