So how many Toghast runs did it take

Before you hated it?

Normally I’m fine with a bit of a grind for things. Rep, a quest chain, maybe crafting, but this… Torghast is a whole nother level of grind. It’s the exact same thing, over and over and over and over and over and over…

The rooms are all the same, the enemies are all the same, the powers are somewhat cool, but locked behind rng so you can’t really plan with them

Can we get some kind of variety? Make a room look like Ardenweald or something, I don’t care.

It’s just so bloody boring :persevere:

Oh and locking a core expansion feature behind something this boring is just rude. I understand there needs to be a grind of some sort but come on, this is what you picked? I fall asleep trying to do this because it’s so freaking repetitive

I’d say about four weeks so that be what about 15 runs?

I havent done torghast since I got my rank 3 legendary. The slight power increase to r4 is not worth my time(to those who think it is great! do what you think is worth your time bro!)

I’m still fine with it.

The lack of actual useable gear compared to visions is annoying but not a deal breaker.

How many runs? Far fewer then it took to make my legendary. Haven’t been back since and won’t be making a 2nd one for unholy.

Does having stealth make it more tolerable?

Maybe I’m just playing the wrong class

Shadow never was the best solo spec

I don’t hate it, I just have no reason to do it. So I don’t.

This is just a forum alt unfortunately, I do all my content, at the moment, on my Warrior.

Arms just eats that place alive with the right builds.

Infinite Condemns that one shot? Sweet.

1 minute Bladestorm? Awesome.

Immune to all physical attacks? Jackpot.

Slam one shots the final boss? Lol.

If you are having problems running Torghast just make friends with a tank, they literally cannot die and suplex the difficulty.

I stopped when I went screw upgrading my legendary it really isn’t that impactful .

OOH it lets my aimed shot also do a talent I didn’t select.

If they had a legendary that would let me aim shot on the move ,yeah I’d be a farming fool for soul ash .

I wouldn’t say I hate it, but I definitely lost interest in it after the novelty wore off, so like… one run. As someone who has no desire to do M+, it’s disappointing they didn’t turn this into an alternative. I could have gotten into Torghast if they added at least a chance of loot to drop off layer bosses once per day/per run. Maybe make rares actually rarer but give them a small chance to drop something too. As it is now, they tried to rip off Rogue-Likes/Lites without one of the core elements of the genre… gear.

Two or three? I’m not joking or trying to be mean, but I’ll admit it’s gone back and forth a bit.

I soured on it really quickly when I realized it wasn’t very rewarding, and when I realized that it didn’t hand out nearly as many amazing and fun powers as was implied to be part of the appeal of the mode (at least for some classes, it’s weirdly inconsistent about this).

Once they evened out the difficulty (and I started to get better gear), I warmed up to it a lot more, but I still don’t really touch it if I don’t have to. I only touched Twisting Corridors for the first quest, for instance. Way too much time and effort to put into something that could end up just being a literal waste of a few hours.

It took me a few repeats of failed TC runs. I’ve been up to floor 7 for at least a month, idk when I’ll finish.

I don’t hate it I’m just bored.

It’s the lack of hype music. I have to go get some Mick Gordon music or something

I honestly would say it’s boring but my brain is a slave to roguelikes so I do it every tuesday without hesitation…

Plus it’s super easy as a hunter so it’s mildly fun just plowing through it and slaughtering everything

One.
One run. Bored.

It just took one run for me. About half way through my first run, I was like, “I’m only half way through this boring misery?”

I’m still happy running them so I’ll let you know when it happens.

Since I got all my real legendaries done I think I’m going to make a silly Torghast one next just for fun, the ghost sounds neat for group weekly runs.
