I am just curious how many of you killed the last boss on heroic/mythic without paying gold like I did?

Also, how many of you did not care about it

Not I, but I did get almost all of the different armor type transmogs I wanted. One, maybe two more weeks and I will be complete.

I got him on Heroic but doesn’t look like we’re going to make it on Mythic.

Never bothered to attempt it. I would have liked to do all of the raids in BFA at least once just to see them and have a crack at them but I doubt I would be guild material and putting a pug together is just not worth the headache.

LfR exists. I wouldn’t recommend it for the last boss but the rest of them are pretty easy once you’ve done them once or twice.

Not even beginning to attempt Mythic Zoth nty but I cleared AOTC and KSM by my own merit for the first season and I’m proud of that so

True, but it’s more or less the same as making a pug in general chat. Everyone is just running around like headless chooks and when the first head comes off, the entire thing falls to pieces.

Nope. Didn’t kill him on any of the levels. But I won in different ways.

I won the expansion by getting to play a vulpera
Thats all that counts for me… because I payed gold for my heroic kill.

I paid gold for my AOTC cause my work life doesn’t really allow me to settle into a guild and raid schedule.

But I’ve murdered him plenty on LFR.

I personally don’t feel I won the expansion though since no one has playable Sethrak yet. :woman_shrugging:

I killed it with my guild on Heroic. The fight is a complete snoozefest… I’m sure it’s the same on mythic when you’re 482+ ilvl.

I just love the game. I don’t worry about setting goals in the game. I just have a good time participating in Azeroth.

My guild generally just aims for AOTC, and then eventually we hop into mythic when the cross-realm part opens up so that our Community folks can get in too.

Most of us aren’t all that interested in progressing any ‘harder’ than that. Character progression, the social bits and pieces, get the achievement, maybe run some alts through if there’s interest, etc. That generally works for us.

I wouldn’t say I won this expansion. I managed to get my AOTC via a great guild on my Nightborne Death Knight.

This is the first expac where I can’t be bothered. I guess I will kill him this month, but I don’t want to spend hours wiping with people who refuse to even watch a 5 minute video. I guess I will token it up and pay like all the cool kids do :slight_smile:

^ This. I am usually just in it for the storyline, once the majority of that is over, so am I. Then I just level alts.

both for me. i didnt really care, but i had an opportunity to get the kill and mount, so i took it.

I didn’t care about this expansion. I got the Argus AotC in Legion and Garrosh in MoP in pugs without paying, so I could do it if I spent enough time, but just didn’t care enough.

I don’t care about it but I’m a collector so I gotta get a carry for the mount Blizz is going to remove. I wish they’d just 1% these like they do the Mythic mounts.
