As we already know, it was states that they have teams on all 3 expansions that were announced. My question is how long we think it will take to launch each expansion? This has never been done before and if there’s several teams working on each one, this leads me to believe we may look at Cataclysm to Mists of Pandaria type pacing as, quote me if I’m wrong, the fastest release to release in the timelines.

My guess is 18 months for a single life cycle. One year is too quick and would likely cause some pushback considering we subscribe to this game as a means of supporting the game’s content updates between expansions. 18 months seems like the most obvious.
Blizz has chased the notion of faster expansions for ages. They may or may not accomplish it with the next three, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the goal.
… but don’t expect them to give a number.
The best way to avoid making a promise you can’t keep? Don’t make any such promises in the first place. Such as in the event something gets delayed.
Some version of this is probably engraved in Ion’s office somewhere.

Which would take off like…2 months of each expansion.
And 18 months fits neatly into 3 seasons…so yeah, 18 months would also be my guess

Because from Battle For Azeroth to Dragonfight more than 5 years passed!
I’m also voting 18 month expansions.
I think we’ll see 3 raids per expansion, and they’ll just chop off the extra season at the end - unless something goes wrong and they need to buy a few extra months.
I could have sworn they said something crazy. Like a year or a year and a half. I am skeptical, but I have been wrong on occasion.
they’ve been wanting to do yearly expansions for a long time now, and while I don’t think we’ll get them that fast, having a clearly defined trilogy makes me think it’ll be faster than we’ve seen in the past. Maybe 18-20 months.

I am quite sure the only thing they ever said about specific numbers is that they intend the World Soul Saga to be wrapped up by 2030. Which is a very slight lowering of expansions (2-3 months each) to reach that goal. It could be more, sure. But that is the only concrete number they have stated.
