These Reddit bots don’t actually play the game, really weird post.
Those of us that have been burned carrying players know to be careful which is why we never run SR / MS > OS.
It is easy, but it can also easily spiral into a 5h BWL or MC with a bunch of non-consuming, half-afk, noobs.
All the good players have had multiple bad SR experience and will never run them again unless no other option on last day of lockout.
I am not sure but I do not think it will be banned forever. My theory is that they want the gold farmers on crapaclysm classic one of the two versions with a token and thus for now they do not want gdkp on sod and classic classic. I think we might get it on tbc with the token, but for the time in vanilla having to deal with gdkp might be a thing not good for a server which will progress to tbc and having to deal with gold checks and ticket sellers there will be a bad time.
Even flasks.
The black lotus changes aren’t on fresh.
Flasks will be 150+ gold ea.

With GDKPs banned flasks will be free and all players will be full consumed and never make mistakes.
RMT will be brought to 0 since nothing needs to be purchased to raid.

Imo Suicide Kings is the best/easiest method of loot distribution. Take your number, stand in line and eventually you can get what you want. Sadly, it seems to be one of the least favored loot systems.
LC is best for guilds
Gdkp is best for pugs.

Sure, if the LC is trusted by the guild. Otherwise someone will get shafted at some point and then drama drama drama. Personally, I don’t play WoW to participate in a Soap Opera.
I much prefer you getting upset at a guild than you ruining the server economy with GDKP’s.

Guild I raided with in OG vanilla handled raid loot round robin with people in lists based on class/spec etc. Something dropped person at the top of the list got asked if they wanted and whomever got it went to the bottom of the list. If no one needed then it went for alt/greed/DC rolls. Had a guild officer that kept track of everything and posted the lists on our guild website (back when those were a thing). It worked out really well and if some oddball item or legendary showed up sometimes the raid would decide by vote.

Classic drops off huge after BWL, and it always has. It’s not a secret or a mystery. Of course, they’ll be here telling us “sEe tHAt’S wHaT yOU gEt fOr nO gdKpS” but it doesn’t matter because
They can’t do it to this version of the game

These swipers certainly come up with hilarious arguments.
I’m really enjoying the “I’m tired of carrying scrubs” angle. But they’re perfectly willing to carry someone who brings that fat gold seed money.

Most of the buyers are alts of the people running in the discord gdkps community.
You just are out of the community.
Nah they’re not even the ones carrying. They’re paying to get carried.

crazy how one would be willing to carry players in smooth runs for big payouts, but not in unorganized runs with no payout.
They care about the purse, not the parse.
