The interface states I’m at 6/7 for the second piece of loot from raid kills, I assume because I killed SHriekwing on both difficulties.
If I were to kill a boss I haven’t killed yet on LFR, bringing me to 7 bosses, would the second piece of loot offered be Normal Quality or LFR quality?
The only other post I saw about this said that in order to get the second reward, you had to kill 7 bosses in the same difficulty, but it’s definitely showing 6/7 on the interface, and I didn’t kill 6 in any difficulty, but 6 combined.
They gotta be all the same difficulty, for each 3/7/10. So if you clear all of normal and did 3 heroic bosses, your loot boxes will be 213/200/200 to 207. Since you only did 6 normal bosses, you need 1 more normal boss to unlock the second box.
Heroic bosses count as normal bosses and heroic bosses/ mythic as all three for diff. A boss is only counted to total once thou.
You killed Sheik twice but only counted once as the heroic shriek counts as both normal and heroic for diff but not twice for kill total. It’s 7 unique bosses for the 2nd chest.
This means at 7 kills assuming 7th is not a lfr kill you will get a normal mode 2nd slot require 7 heroic mode kills to get a heroic 2nd slot.
As it’s unique bosses you cant go and kill eg shriek yet again on heroic in order to get the 7th or even a mythic as it will still only count once.
Nah ! It has to be on the same difficulty . I tried doing this with 2 normal and 1 heroic kill and I got no loot. Support said it has to be on the same difficulty .
It must only be 7 different bosses. If it is reporting as you have said then killing a different LFR boss will entitle you to an LFR reward. It always does the lowest difficulty of the kills counted towards the vault loot.
An added twist for the raid portion of the vault is that only bosses you’ve killed at some point (not necessarily that week) will populate the loot table for your vault.
I really don’t like when people explain it this way, because it misleads people and causes people to think that “it’s based off the lowest kill”, when it’s really not.
If you kill 7 bosses, 6 on mythic and 1 on LFR, then Box 1 is Mythic and Box 2 is LFR, that’s true. But if you kill 8 bosses, 7 on Mythic and 1 on LFR, both Boxes 1 and 2 are Mythic; the lowest kill is irrelevant in that case.
Essentially, lowest kills only come into play if they’re the final kill to unlock a box. Otherwise, they don’t matter.
ok this all makes sense but what if you only kill one boss on heoric this week for a specific trinket? Will the vault only give you loot from that boss?
