Ok so nothing to do. Just got the answer.

"How do you get the Wandering Ancient mount?

John Hight: That’s a great question! So, little background: Last year, when we were finishing up Shadowlands, our Art team were ahead of schedule and we decided it would be awesome to give a gift back to all our players and build a mount for them. And so, the Art team put together some cool ideas, brainstormed some things they wanted, and we literally put it to a vote, and let our community decide what they would like us to make for them. The winner was, the Wandering Ancient!

So the requirement for the Wandering Ancient really is, you gotta have Shadowlands! We will have the Wandering Ancient in the 9.0.5 patch update, and that will be next month! I won’t tell you the exact date, but you can probably guess it is pretty close, but we want to make sure the patch is ready to put it out."

Thank goodness, the book wasn’t chosen!

I would have been quite upset not to get it since I did not buy Shadowlands due to the pre-patch mess.

  3. Punt 1000 different gnome players.

  4. Spend a month grinding The Maw new quest chain, rare elites and events.

  5. Have 4 million gold for purchase the tree mount.

Just have Shadowlands and Log in after patch today.
I’m quite excited.

I do hope they add the book in someday though, even if its in the shop. I really wanted that one.

Will the mount be mailed to us, or will it be automatically added to our mount collection?

Tree mount? Oh Ancients. They live in Teldrassil near Darnassus.

You should be max level to access it. They made a merchant in Darnassus that sells these tree mounts.

I also heard there is a merchant in Undercity.

Try to go to these cities at max level.

I’m going to guess it will be automatically in your mount tab. That’s how they have been doing the free 6 month sub mounts. Open your tab and there will be a gift box at the top of the list, just right click on it and pick the open gift option on the pop op and it will appear.

A special Chromie scenario called the Inferno of Teldrassil will be available for 1 week. During this time players must complete the scenario and receive the achievement [The Pyromaniac] in order to get the mount which will then be sent to the player’s mailbox.

I am so excited to have an Ancient. Even more so on my Night Elf. He will be so proud. :heart: :deciduous_tree:
