This is incorrect. Delves (T8 or higher) cap out at 649 in the vault. M+ (+2) starts at 649 in the vault.
Basically, +2 and T8 delves are roughly equivalent in rewards (champion track drops, hero track vault). I’d also argue they’re similarly “difficult” (i.e. not difficult), but M+ does have the slight difficulty of forming a group.
Both have their places. Since they both give hero gear its best to run all your delves at 8 (or 11 if you want the crests) and then M+ 2 for 3 more great slots. The raid slots is the longest imho as it can be tricky to get in a pug that arent 25 idiots
You can do the same 4 if you’re just looking for efficiency.

Guess the real question is why is Blizzard tripping soo badly over allowing the quest to include Heroic dungeons like last season. I don’t recall severs crashing. Or a bunch of pugs with their one piece of Heroic gear clearing Mythic raids.
Timewalking Raids are right on par with 4 Heroic dungeon clears, so we will see if they back down the Heroic Raid reward, to a Champion track piece.
It is a single random piece of Heroic raid gear, that’s it… Not like you are doing 4 Heroic Dungeons to get a full set of Heroic Raid Teir sets.

I consider myself normal Average. Better success for Elites no lifers in the game, M0 is somewhat a joke to them. Those Elites are KSM on week 1.
The above people are all right I would just add, if you are not a Mythic runner decide on one easy dungeon and run it 4 times. You won’t get loot after the first but they all count to the quest.
Gotta pump those Mythic participation numbers is likely why.
May have been the plan but nah, all of my alts will be skipping and going back to delves again much less hassle and decent enough gear.
A month ago that M0 was a +10, so yea, when you feel like you don’t even have a weapon equipped and you do wipe, it is going to bring out the worst in people.
That doesn’t seem plausible to me personally, because this is an event that only comes around…what, every 2 or 3 months? Either way, TWW S1 is the real anomaly here, since that’s the only tier/season since the event was introduced that it could be completed with heroic dungeons. It’d always required mythic prior to that.
We’ll probably never know the reasoning behind the S1 change, nor the reversion here in S2.
Stop making M+ more and more difficult and more people will engage. Like how people are more likely to pick up and read Harry Potter versus The Art of War. Considering gaming is largely for the masses a leisure activity, it makes sense why numbers dropped.
Increasing max stamina by 25% and then increasing mob dmg by the same value while keeping heals/defensives the same is a direct nerf to all healers. (DF) Changing the keys and condensing the keys and increasing difficulty between each key makes it harder (DF) Changing the stops (TWW) means the party will recieve more incoming dmg. Introduing delves (TWW) hemmoraged M+ players, especially the more causual base.
Not hard to see why M+ is floundering a lot lately, imagine instead of nerfing bosses in mythic raid they buffed them… Less people would engage with mythic raid. Wild to expect anything less from the M+ crowd
As someone who used to do the old 2-15 range I still think removing the 2-10 range and making 0 like 10 and 2 like 12 was a mistake. Yes I realize they have nerfed some stuff, and removed affixes and timers so now a +2 is probably not like an old +12 but more like an old plus 5/7 but still… you remove the base level for people to get in then don’t act shocked when less people do it.
You don’t have to engage. M+ is meant to be more difficult than queue content and the reward is appropriate for that difficulty.
It already had infinte scaling, in otherwords, advocating other changes would mean you simply refuse to push your key to the desired level. So again, why make it harder when you already could make it as hard as you ever wanted? Bad optics on your part so far, it seems like you are just lazy and want +20 keys given to you lol
If your goal is to get gear, it’s meaningless to go above 10, the infinite scaling part of it is irrelevant. If the +10 is too easy for the reward, they buff it. Simple.
+2 are still very very easy.
I’m running DFC on M0 and M2 on a few toons to try for the mole mount while getting the weekly done.
So far, seen the mount drop 4 times in 8 runs of DFC, but not for me.
This! Delves it is. There’s no way im getting into that toxic mess of any mythic stuff.
