How did all you lovelies possibly decide on a main class/race when there’s so many possibilities? I myself picked Monk because it could do all 3 jobs and for some reason wasn’t massively popular like druids or paladins. I see those EVERYWHERE. And with Monk, it was only natural to go as a cute pandaren, no? Well apparently not because Pandaren Monks are only like, 2% of the population, and that’s both factions combined. So not only am I cute and fun to play, I’m also super rare!
I also made a Goblin alt and ended up making her a Hunter, since -in my opinion- Goblins are too small to be a tank class and probably too selfish to be a healing job. They also don’t feel like they would make good melee classes. Although survival hunters get polearms, which seem like the perfect weapon for a goblin, and you can run around with a crossbow and mechanical minions, how fun!
Edit: Plus it’s scientifically proven that people on the opposite faction tend to be more friendly to both Pandaren AND Monks. So put them together and I’m basically full stealth-mode in war-mode~.
Well I didn’t have a choice on race and I wanted to try the new class in legion.
As for my other main, a warrior. I picked warrior because that’s my favorite class. As for race…well it’s been through a lot. Goblin, undead, human, night elf, and now lightforged.
I picked lightforged because they are the best alliance race aesthetically in my opinion. My reasoning as for why she has had so many different races is that she is a bronze dragon and she shuffles her mortal form now and then.

Zandalari druids can turn into arakkoa-dactyls and lizard kitties and mosasaurs
Bronze dragons can foresee all the coming fashion trends

I hated the bat for flying on my troll so I switched to Zandalari.

I wanted to be a Zombie Demon Wizard.
Monks are really fun to me. One of those times where you just find the class that fits. And humans are one of my favorite races. I like their lore and they look good in everything. So here I am today.
I love the Draenei and also like the lightforged horn options more so I picked her. It’s weird I had already had a max Paladin before and didn’t even have a lot of fun on it so I changed it up but then when I decided to start trying healing again it began with druid class… but then on here I heard paladin heals was a little harder in certain situations and also made you think about when to use cds a little more so I was like… hey why not try it out! So here I am… a (almost) max level lightforged draenei Paladin again.
Guess it’s just my destiny.
I picked rogue in classic because it was the first class i picked when i was a very young kiddo first playing wow on my dads comp for the first time
my retail character is a hunter, and i plan on making a void elf mage once I unlock them (which is prob gonna take forever) but I just picked hunter because I really love animals and being able to tame them and fight with them is pretty cool.

So during Vanilla I made a F. NE druid.
A. I was riding high on WC3 and NE were my main faction to play.
B. They were the best looking models they had at the time. other than dwarves.
c. Resto druid’s had near infante groups that needed/wanted them at the time.
d. had a human rogue but the stiff models always bothered me.
Wrath I made a F. NE warrior. for many of the smae reasons listed above.
MOP - made a human monk because I wanted it to represent who I wanted to be within game. With WOD model updates I felt so much happier with the human models. and has bee n my main ever since.
I mained a draenei hunter from when I started during BC to MoP, where I made this guy and had so much fun rolling around and leveling him that he became my main Ally. I still enjoy playing him and run him through the story and anything important like mount and mog runs and achievs.
A belf rogue was my main through a few expansions until Legion, but then I split the time with a new belf DH so they were more or less partner mains. Now that the sub rogue’s were nerfed a bit and a few artifact powers are gone, my DH is my main horde character I do mostly everything with for horde stuff.
I have a handful of other characters at 120, and I have a bunch of alts I’m leveling, but my monk and my DH are my mains and I still have a lot of fun playing both.
I just wanted to make a DBZ reference.

The race/class I originally chose was a new combination at the time.
Could never find my footing, and grew tired of said race, so I decided I needed a change; years after making said character, I decided to faction change them.
I already loved Blood Elves, and needed a race that wasn’t too dissimilar in shape to my OC. Have never been happier.
I tend to pick races I like (goal is to have a toon for each faction/class) then from there I pick a class fantasy that fits how I see my toon in Azeroth. When void elves came out, I was really drawn to them because they were banish for questioning everything and studying the void. This had a lot of similarities with what I have been through in real life . This toon also has my RL nickname as its name, and made priest because of my past as son of a preacher man. I liked the idea of a Void Elf helping people. Either with DPS or with healing.
I just love hunters, it is what got me hooked to the game…not real sure I can explain it beyond that. But, as for race, I went through a few before pandas were born…then, it was how could I resist with a name like applebear?
I was a Blood Elf DK once, back in WotLK.
Then I took an arrow to the knee in Cataclysm.
I’ve never felt more at home since. At least… Not until they release playable Arakkoa. ^-^
I’m on the Alliance, I didn’t want my weapon to drag, and I wanted to be a Shaman.
I had one option.
I like being a Gnome because I find them the most fascinating race in the game. I like that their tinkers, and make all kinds of gadgets and gizmos and stuff. I chose to be a Warrior because it is the class I enjoy the most. Not enough to do again, but as my preferred main each expansion, it has not let me down yet.
So this was the first character i made back when wow first launched, and back then druids were super rare and heavily considered an underpowered/underdog class.
I played warcraft 3 a ton before wow released and was a big fan of the night elf faction and their druids and nature theme, plus when it comes to rpgs/mmos no matter the setting i always end up playing a hybrid/jack of all trades type class or support class.
So that kind of settled it for me. My friends also went alliance so tauren druid wasnt really an option, though i liked night elves more anyhow so it worked out.
As for alts, I’ve tried every class to some degree and so far shaman and monk are the only two that even come close to being as enjoyable for me as my druid.
My OG character was a human pally. After playing Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne, I wanted to play pally in vanilla because I believed they were destined for great things. It ended up that I was only playing a five minute buff bot in raids.
My main is now human warrior because… I wanted to get into tanking and I have been playing that one character ever since.
