So how bad did Blizzard butcher your spec

For some reason blizzard gets a stim out of overhauling demo every single expansion. Tuning wise i think lock is solid for S1 raiding, but design wise everything is just an abomination of what we had in DF. A lot of iconic talents/spells were either gutted or straight up removed (RIP grimoire felguard and Inevitable demise)

Anyone else feeling like your spec got used and abused? Did blizz overhaul your class to the point of alienation or do you think you can still kick it in WWI?

Butcher is a strong word.

I miss my purple Infernal (I like Infernals), and I miss my AoE Incinerate. At the moment, it seems my only AoE is RoF, but there may be another one hidden in there somewhere.

Otherwise, it mostly mechanically plays like it did before.

Still thinking of switching to Demo though, been playing Destro since MoP.

I didn’t even look at it too hard. I am used to the buff/nerf cycle as a feral druid. I don’t even know if the spec is on the buff or nerf part of the wave.

I suspect someone will come to work on the Monday after raid release and say “Did you see those numbers from the feral druid in the raid. Insane, way too close to the top. We need to nerf them immediately.”

I won’t be maining MW monk anymore, after a very very long time bc of the changes they made. Does that count?

I’m struggling to figure out a main because of the changes they made. While my arcane mage is doing really well on damage, I hate the feel of the rotation. Just not liking it.

Not a fan of the druid, either. I just set all my toons to ‘starter build’ for now until I figure out what, if anything, I’ll be playing in TWW.

Just not feeling it. Doesn’t help that guildmates are quitting the game since they’re not feeling things either. :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the changes made to my monk and the hero talents are good as well.

I main resto shaman and mistweaver. Both of those specs are better now than they were in DF so no butchering here.

Demo good. Can get a bit monotonous but overall pretty fun.

Most of the specs I’m interested in are significantly improved. Frost DK, WW Monk, MM/Surv hunter, Arcane Mage, Ele/Resto Sham, etc

My only real personal disappointment so far is Balance Druid.

I was about to post I don’t feel MW changed that much and I’ve been fine with it lol.

Same. Monks are definitely winners going into TWW.

There’s no mention of mustard gas yet, but I think Professor Putricidie’s blight was something similar in ICC.

but it is what their own DEI, ESG and SBI social contract does that Blizzard messes up the quality of a video game.

Is it really so sensitive to what it is until now IDK who is the idiot who thinks Warcraft was a game for children? IT IS AN RTS, do not give it something that bores what we enjoyed, and I mean its origins, and now with the MMO it had to be maintained, and that ridiculous censorship is losing it.

which makes classes with gore, dark and strong themes look childish like the DK, Warlock, Rogue and DH which are classes whose meaning indicates violence.

And I already said that this will not make them cover it up as if they were covering the sun with a finger.

this stronger like for a soyboy vegan like you? I think it gives you the creeps if someone makes a delicious barbecue and feeds it to our carnivorous pets like dogs and cats. :dog: :cat:
