So how about that reputation bias?

Highmountain Tauren
Nightfallen

Both of these factions were available day 1 of Legion, and were and still are really easy to Exalt with.

Argussian Reach
Army of the Light

These factions were only available when the very last patch of the entire expansion release, and players had to become EXALTED with them to unlock Void Elves and Lightforged Draenei. Even today at level 120 and 1-hitting everything and solo’ing the dungeon, it takes weeks to hit exalted with either of these factions.

Meanwhile the Horde were already fully Exalted with the reputations they needed straight away.

Fast forward to today. Before you tell me how easy Mechagon rep is, that’s not the point. I know it’s much easy. It’s much MUCH easier than Argus/Light however THAT is not the point.

The point is that once again Horde didn’t have to do anything extra. I will agree that Dark Iron, Mag’har, Kul Tiran, and Zandalari were easy “gimme” reputations. Heck I have paragoned 7th legion like 3-4 times without even meaning to.

But Horde had the Vuldunai rep since literally day 1 of BFA, someone just passively playing could log back in 8.3 after having maybe not played a few months, and boom new race available if they want. Meanwhile alliance players doing the same thing would have to run a scenerio, farm rep for 2 weeks, just to get the same thing.

Out of the 5 allied races that alliance has, 3 of them were locked behind a rep grind that the Horde did NOT have to suffer.

I saw a youtube video from Hazel Nutty Games where she mentions the Pride of Kul Tiras quest chain that’s required for the alliance to unlock Kul Tirans, but nothing equivalent for the horde. So it seems to be a pattern of these devs to make life harder for the alliance while horde gets the easy road.

Is that the one where you gotta do all the quests in each of the 3 zones? Like all the major story quests I mean

Guessing horde dont have to do Zandalari Forever or whatever it’s called?

The Horde does Zandalar Forever which includes a story line equivalent to Pride of Kul’Tiras

Zandalar Forever is just an achievement for completing the zone quests. It’s not a separate chain that also requires a dungeon.

Maddof’s right. i got it without doing some long quest-chain on my rogue.

how is this even " suffering " ?
like do it or dont.
its not a major content locked behind a rep grind. its just a allied race with terrible racials.

allied races are content, otherwise this new patch is gonna be a little sparse. not saying they’re a lot, of content… but still.

no its a separate chain that requires a scenario. If you are going to say something at least be right.

I’m not defending them just so you know, but it is a separate scenario and quest line.

how?
1 quest at best.
yea you can do the same leveling route again to unlocka heritage armor but thats a week at best playablity. Not like a raid or a dungeon or even a scenario at top level.
its weak side dish stuff. not the main course. 100% No suffering

You’re missing the point. The recurring pattern is that Alliance gets stuck with extra requirements which the Horde side doesn’t have to do. Why doesn’t the Horde have to grind 40 thousand extra rep instead of the Alliance to unlock the new race?

couple of quests, all the allied races i’ve gotten so far have had like… 3-5 quests. not to mention there’s leveling the new toon, heritage armor (sure, it’s cosmetic, but that’s content too), new mounts… yes, it’s lower-level content, but it’s still technically content. if you can see it in the game, it’s content… even if it’s small, crappy content.

no i understand that but it dosnt mater who has to grind or not. i mean, i get it. it sucks but most peps already have exhalted mecha rep.

yea but still super hard side dish not main course. You will get it with the bare min of effort.

when have i said it was major content? all i said was content. content is content. like how a single grape is food.

i do, cause I’m doing it on my Horde. then I’ll log in on an Alliance alt to do the scenario rofl. You act like Horde aren’t doing it to unlock them silly.

edit: not to mention if you are already Alliance chances are you’ve been doing Mechagon anyway since 8.2… and I’m inching closer to Exalted, I’m sure other people are already exalted or will be before January :stuck_out_tongue:

This is actually fair to point out. This is undoubtedly a negative for the Alliance.

Their allied races are harder for new players to get and harder for most to get later in the expansions.

The Horde Allied races are introductory reputations for the most part. It is easier to get the races.

I guess it might be an incentive for the Horde to play the Alliance? Idk why Blizz would do this other than that. Make the Horde completionists take a little extra time on the Alliance now.

Oh and look, it is easier to get to exalted with Mechagon than it is with Volduni. Atleast Mechagon gets 850 rep everyday. Volduni only gets 1500 when the emissary comes around, then 75 rep per each WQ, mind you, there isn’t a lot of WQ each day too.

And it is always pointing out towards Horde BIAS.

you never did but why get upset about side dish stuff when the main course is right there?
you said suffering.
which is funny.
i mean if it was main course troubles full support but side dish stuff… nothing.
