Obviously, it is. But thankfully Blizzard is aware of the grave mistake they made, in their attempt to gain customers while BfA was under heavy flak. Another of their short term solutions which comes back to haunt them, as always.
Counterpoint: No
While I still say there was no reason to remove the Long Boi I keep seeing comments about the big need to have a AH anytime anywhere…you know for years before there was a Mobile AH aka the Long Boi …many of us kept a low level alt in either SW or IF just for that simple thing of being able to use that alt to do our banking and AH work…worked great for years and years now…so what is the huge problem of not having a AH mount now.
There are few portable mail boxes you can get though out the game so that’s not the issue …
I didn’t buy the Long Boi just for the AH on it…I brought it for the Uniqueness of it…it was a one of kind mount.
You all have access now to a AH in the new Major city of Dragon Flight so that’s not the issue…so what is it now?
it shows how much they actually know about the game , people that makes gold have low level acc on main towns , the logic behind its removal doesnt make sense , they could of always make another 7 million gold mount or 8 mill gold mount and increase gold cap easily but nope they come up with some random reason and the white knights at forums clapping and worshipping poor choices that will impact their bussiness hell 5 mill gold is a lot of tokens , bring it back , bring the longboi back
Pride is a poison which clouds minds very easily. People have done terrible things in far more serious situations than a dinosaur mount in a game. But people are too confused to see that their protectiveness of digital goods will be their doom. Especially when the world might face a crisis, which affects everyone of us. Yellowstone Outburst, world war, another and more serious pandemic.
What the pandemic has shown to us (and me) is that nothing is ever granted. Every good moment needs to be cherished, we never know when it hits us again. And this what is greatly concerning.
the practice of logging out and relogging to a different character then relogging back to your original character takes far longer than just riding back and forth to the AH does.
Longboi is amazing for crafters since they can park both longboi and a mailbox right next to the crafting station and just buy everything they need as they go and saving a great deal of time
Having to be next to a crafting station in dragonflight in order to even do your profession has made Longboi more valuable than it ever was before.
You mean to pay real money for an in game item that has zero real world value?
I tend to like smaller mounts but I’d buy one just to watch the gd nerds self-immolate
no good reason to not having brutosaur back
The brutosaur was a mistake. It should be removed from the game, and the current owners should be refunded.
I say bring it back. Fomo is stupid in general(FF14 never gets rid of mounts pets etc and they’re doing better than WoW currently) but its especially stupid with utility items. Thats like taking away the yak and mammoth and going “oh your in a dungeon and wanna repair? Leave and go to a repair station loser.”
Absolutely not. The cat’s out of the bag on that one.
Absolutely. Everything should be brought back and obtainable in some way.
This gets seconded by me (fellow longboi owner)
people do it all the time. the value is in the eye of the beholder. for some its NFTs ;D
and others its that TCG mount
and even still people pay money to have the other form of NFT which is buying a star. like you own a reff number in some database. you dont actually own the star.
the only people that dont want it to come back are boosters.
agreed it needs to be back
Trading post seems like the perfect vehicle to bring it back.
lol they called me crazy
