Neither. If I really had to choose I’d probably go Saurfang, I already refused to participate in the burning of the tree.
I went against the Lich Queen on my Tauren.
My Blood Elf Mage snitched on Zappy Boi. He’s a BE, he can’t betray Sylvanas, even if she’s going to get him killed and ruin his hair…
Sourfang and got tired of gift. My beef is with Nathanos…he’s coming across as Varimathras in disguise. I think Sylvie is someone’s puppet.
The fact that you base things on Raiding and PvP/Esports just tells me everything, first of all no one plays WoW for it’s Esports no one overall watches or plays any other MMORPG for it’s esports or PvP scene, this Raiding community your talking about? That’s like probably 10% or even less of WoWs community.
People play WoW because it an interesting game with an interesting world to explore, look at how successful Classic has been since they released it 3 weeks ago that is why people want to play the game. Yeah you can say story doesn’t matter but ever since after WotLK and Cata the story has sucked and guess what happened? WoW started to decline in big numbers, yeah there were other things other than the story sucking that made it bad but you have to agree that the story sucks now and the game just isn’t that attractive anymore.
Interesting take. I actually despise Nathanos much more than Sylvanas, tbh. He is just as obnoxious as her, but in this case that’s unjustified, so he’s just a dick.
As a living being, I stand with the living.
As any warlock will tell you…the subjugator can become the Subjugated.
And the Thomas Zelling thing really pissed me off.
I cringe at “WoW” and “e-sports” in the same sentence. I’m not talking about Arena Invitational, or Mythic Dungeon Challenge or whatever it’s called.
I’m talking about the only place where I can actually see activity of people completing the current content of the game.
If the content one plays is just questing alone in Nazjatar, then sure, I’m missing them by the way I’m judging the game…but for these loners, do it even matters if the game has an active community? They do everything by themselves, anyway. No content they do requires other people - so far as other people are concerned, they are playing a single-player game and don’t exist except as background actors.
People who only do solo content and don’t raid, not even in normal or LFR, or PvP, or run dungeons (as a group, not soloing old ones) aren’t really playing WoW. Not in the same sense that it matters if there are other people there with them.
For everyone else, amassing in one faction remains optimal.
I did not side with the spiteful witch. I’m over her badly written character at this point, way over.

If you look in Classic and tell me if there’s any solo player at all that’ll get anywhere in the game. There are lots of solo-players in retail because as I said before the game sucks, it’s boring and built for casuals like a phone app game, it doesn’t help the fact that the story sucks and is uninteresting too.
You can solo anything in classic except for…raids and dungeons. Exactly what I said that makes the game active, and that causes people to be where there’s others to complete the content with them.
“You can solo anything in classic” HAHAHAHA nice try
This has not been my experience. Even 15 levels above, a large mob can wipe me out.
Retail, even two levels above, I can AoE them down in droves.
And clearly you’ve never been to Fenris Isle
I’m not gonna argue with your Classic delusion.
Classic’s actual group content is, just like Retail, the current Raids and Dungeons. Everything else can be solo’d.
Even in cherry-picked scenarios of hard quests or places with packed mobs are tough for you to solo when at the appropriate level, none of that is content that HAS to be completed to acchieve the goal - Max level. It’s entirely optional.
When I leveled my original warrior back in Vanilla, I failed at soloing several quests; specially the warrior ones and the Hives in Silithus.
Guess what? I still completed the warrior quest much later, and I never HAD to complete Silithus. I leveled to 60 anyway, despite not soloing that, and nothing changed because of it.
So, in other words, I completed the content 100% solo.
It was only after, when starting to raid and PvP, that having other people around mattered.
The choices they give so far are just fluff. You are still on the theme park ride.
BE Paladin reluctantly betrayed Sylvanas.
Zandalari Druid thinks all these fools are crazy, and ignored it.
Mag’har Warrior gladly betrayed and wants to sink her axes into Syl’s skull.
Forsaken Warlock gladly cheered Sylvanas and was disappointed they couldn’t murder Saurfang and Baine both.
Yeah you solo’d content you were supposed to have or could have grouped up with people to do with and how’d that go for you? Yeah exactly slow and late but guess what you were still playing the game with a goal to reach 60 going into the unknown as a “solo” player that you like to call your self. Solo players don’t make up much of the game even then they are still forced to group up if they want to make any good progress.
Wrong.
The Horde evacuated Undercity before it was bombed.
Will choosing sides really make a difference? So far we really don’t know what the outcome will be. I’m beginning to think that the choice quests aren’t going to pan out. I might be wrong but we will have to wait and see.
My warlock chose siding with the Dark Lady. My Nightborne sided with Saurfang.
Both of them kept the Gift of N’zoth.
oh is there a new thingy? Should be fun when I get home.
