Those queues are laughable. As alliance you lose practically every game if you’re not a premade. You’d still be out-earning the average alliance by a significant margin. Especially when you take into account mark hand-ins. As someone else said, all that matters is honour earnt per hour and even with significantly longer queues horde came out ahead there, yet still had these changes implemented to stem the whining.
The fact that queues are that short for horde suggests there’s no need for HvH BGs. And as all the horde say when Alliance bring up how ridiculous the racials imbalance is in arena/PvP, you can just reroll the other faction to solve that issue. There’s even a paid boost!

Horde have had queues for years on Retail.
Horde had queues for all of Classic Era.
People roll Horde for TBC and act surprised they have queues.

They are still fast though even with tons of people in line!
I farmed 75,000 honor and 100 of each badge. About 30,000 of that honor and 60% of the badges were during HVH.
However, prior to doing that, I farmed all of the honor and badges needed for my entire PVP set and offset gear before HVH and without the help of the day one bug.
Does it suck that I spent hundreds of hours while others got to spend far less? Or even worse that people will be able to buy the gear with gold instead of investing the time?
Yes, but that doesn’t mean I want the game to fail. More participation in PVP is better than less.
Did you farm in between or what was your method?
