Fyrrak is definetly not impressive even after taking a shadowflame (ugh what a cringe name) bath. Raszageth on the other hand gave a good impression on what she stands for and is not just “me dumb and strong”.
It would have been better if Blizzard developed these villains more instead of quickly.
Fyrrak was told he’d simply be warming up the audience. Iridikron handed him a notecard of things to say as a little cheatsheet.
He didn’t know that both Vyranoth and Iridikron had left the stadium until he was being called on stage. At that point he was left to hold the bag and had to keep the show going.
Fyrrak did nothing wrong.
I feel like Raszegeth and Fyrakk would’ve made a dangerous duo. Totally unhinged.
And they would’ve run over Vyranoth for her betrayal, all three of them.
Oh well.
Dunno why Iridikron’s idea was to split up, when they’re all more powerful together.
Because Iridikron saw the final raid end cutscene and noped out til TWW or later.
i hollered laughin at this lol oh god
Does it really matter? At the end of the day, all these villains are just loot pinatas for people to whack.
Fyrrak just happens to be the pinata that has the best worthless crap in it.
Yeah… People crap on Disney with saying wow is too Disney like, but if that were the case the villain would be worth a damn because almost every villain has more character and backstory in a pinky then blizzards villains since SL.
Those two are just the real end bosses stooges & Vyranoth is a defector who saw the writing on the wall ( or is she a double agent keeping tabs on us ).
Iridikron on the other hand is the most dangerous of them all & whatever he’s cooking up in the void is NOT good.
The last we saw of him he successfully acquired Galakronds hunger from his corpse & picture this, A terrifyingly powerful Void formed Galakrond.
He wishes to threaten Azeroth with a weapon so dark that the titans are forced to act.
Its not going to be sparkly fairy dream cinematics for much longer, its going to get very dark next patch.
ya know Iridikron is still around so surprise 4th one boss raid with infinite dragon flight trash mobs?
It does to the people who enjoy the story… Sadly not many players today enjoy the story.
I think that’s what they are trying to do with Iridikron. They’ve mostly ran out of villains, besides Azshara and Xeratath (sorry priests, your knaifu is gonna backstab you, pun intended) and they’ve proven that they can’t write a compelling new villain on the space of one expansion, so they need to spend time each expansion developing a new future villain. Which causes current villain to have even less time to develop and will be a snowballing issue but…
I said that’s what they are trying to do, not that they are doing a good job at it… there’s other underlying issues that they need to fix if they want to write a compelling villain again.
Razegeth was the weakest incarnate, beneath vyranoth.
I believe vyranoth said that fyrakk in terms of strength was on iridikrons level which means tied but was more unhinged and sought only power.
We beat iridikron once in Dawn of the Infinite and well destroy him again.
so idk if you know this. but shadowflame was an ability for the destruction spec in tbc. there is NOTHING cringe about it.
Fyrakk not only was the Final Boss but was merely banished to the Firelands getting away as free as a bird while Raszageth the more interesting Villain was killed off.
Iridikron also gets away with his life.
Infact all Major Villains Post-Legion except Zovaal, Zul, Ashvane, Gul’dan, Xavius, Kil’jaeden, Argus, Raszageth and Sarkareth survive their Expansions being banished to their primary Plane in the cases of N’Zoth, G’huun and Fyrakk.
Of the Dungeon Villains only Decatriarch Wratheye, the Demon Bosses(merely banished), Dazar(technically not a Villain), the Manastorms, Mueh’zala and Iridikron seem to survive in Expansions from Legion and onward.
I loved Razs’ energy so much. So angie, so bitie. Gone too soon, to be honest.
Was Blizzard trying to say that Fyrakk was dumb? I feel like they were saying that he was incredibly impulsive, I don’t know. He obviously wasn’t a brilliant tactician, but I don’t think they were trying to say he had like swiss cheese brain or something.
Blizzard’s Final Bosses seem to always be Fire(Kil’jaeden, Deathwing, Archimonde and Fyrakk), Shadow(Garrosh and N’Zoth) or Death(Argus and Zovaal) it seems.
Why does Blizzard love Fire, Shadow and Death so much?
We never get Air, Light, Life, Order or Earth-themed Final Bosses it seems.
Yeah, shadowflame is actually no joke as far as the game’s lore goes since it’s one of the most devastating type of dragon attacks, and I personally very much enjoy the aesthetic. How Alexstrasza shrugged it off outside Amirdrassil is beyond me. Sabellian got clipped by it down in ZC and he was in agonizing pain. A ritual was required to cleanse the wound for crying out loud. Meanwhile, Alexstrasza was like “Ow, that burns. Nevermind I’m good. BEHOLD THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!”
