So Fury is still bottom of the barrel

Still lowest or non-existent representation across all game modes and MMRs.

For starters, Fury needs a real defensive or an ‘undying rage’ mechanic, just something that will at least compete with immunities.

Fury seems fine. Arms is just so broken that no one is playing it.

For starters, Fury needs utility Arms can’t get

Disarm, Stormbolt, Shockwave, Rallying Cry, Safeguard, Battlefield Commander, Intimidating Shout, Berserker Shout - all solid utility

But ya know what? Arms can get them PLUS Warbanner, Duel, and Sharpened Blade. Not to mention Fury doesn’t have Bladestorm, so it’s peeled easier.

Blizz needs to take Fury’s unique talents like Death Wish, Barbarian, and Enduring Rage and turn them into legit, arena-worthy utility. Not BG gimmicks and raw throughput.

Also, Storm of Destruction should teach us Bladestorm and Slaughterhouse should be baseline waddup :dracthyr_tea:

i think fury is always going to have low representation unless it’s dramatically better than arms which is just worse for the game probably

This would be a great place to start.

Yeah, but they won’t put design time into that until at least next patch or expansion.

I think a stop gap is to just lower the CDs on utility Fury already has, in the same way Devastation got shortened CDs on Time Stop and Loop.

So Arms could have 45 second Disarm, but Fury has 30 second.

Or Fury gets extra value from BFC. Stuff like that.

That’s just not the fury style tho? Why would fury be the one with more utility? It’s whole thing is damage.

That’s not really consistent with Fury’s identity, though, as Gley says. The spec is just a greedy durable meathead that does a lot of damage while being mobile and that causes issues when it’s tuned to be more useful than arms and its utility or damage profile.

What issues? Like actually being a viable spec? All specs should be competitive.

you got home early from curing world hunger, huh?

Fury is a 2 button statcheck that offers little to their time and generally wants to avoid ever swapping targets. Minimal interaction, counterplay, etc. Basically a glorified world quest mob of a spec.

Fury is fine/competitive for the most part, just perhaps not the best, and I think that’s likely the ideal spot for the current incarnation of the spec.

The only thing stopping a Fury Warrior enjoyer from reaching duelist, elite, gladiator, etc, is their own lack of ability.

Someone has got to beat that drum.

See this is the problem

People realize the only way Fury can be good is when it does overtuned damage because it historically has some of the worst utility in the game and is always outshined by Arms’ utility.

But if the damage is ever overtuned then people complain because Fury wins with raw math, and not utility (which is more skilled.)

So it’s time to break the double standard.

Let Fury make plays with it’s own unique utility. Same thing goes for every other meter spec. It’s ridonkulous to act like only specs with utility should ever be good, and then gatekeep utility from specs that don’t have it.

Just spec arms and win with Skillstorm.

Leave fury as it is and absolutely nuke arms into oblivion. I hate with my guts when fury is better than arms so have arms be better just by a little.

At least arms gives the impression of being more “skilled” (when it really isnt). When fury is strong its literally someone just facerolling towards me with 100%uptime, god tier selfsustain and tankyness.

Nerf arms in line with fury

Forum trolls going to have trouble accepting logic.

I’m having a blast with fury. Feels good to play. High mobility, fast paced.
I swap targets just fine, and I have all the utility I need to handle most situations.

But that’s what fury is. It’s the damage spec. You want the utility and other things, thats arms. Sure the utility is often better, but that’s ok. Fury still has it’s times when it’s the better spec. Look at the last 2 seasons of SL. Not every spec needs more utility.

See the problem is Arms has equal or more damage, utility, and defensives than Fury.

I’d say fury right now has quite a bit more damage than arms. Defensively I’m not sure I think in certain matchups arms defensives are better, but against other fury is better.
